What fantastic news. A start of a new era. Thank you Leigh, Ben, Stefan and all at Trivela! UTS

I’m a Cautious Man but I have High Hopes that Glory Days are coming, and that Better Days are ahead. Anyway, we are all Saddlers fans because of The Ties That Bind, so let’s just Dream Baby Dream.

Kept talking about low debt, plus equity, so I’d reckon it’s probably more like 4million on the mortgage maybe?

Reckon our Jeffrey has made at least £16 million out of the club over the last 32 years, between rent and this sale.

That’s the frustrating thing how much money he’s made . And how the conning bar steward got it . So glad he has no part in our club anymore and have no goodwill for him either.

Fantastic news and I hope sincerely this works out.

The Bonser cloud has hovered over the club as long as I’ve supported it, way overdue time it floated off for good.

Sensibly strengthen the team in the January transfer window, get some decent beer on tap at the ground and get the Bonser suite rebranded asap, happy days.

Would much rather see all the suites named after our legendary players.

Always thought it was narcissistic of Boner to have a suite named after himself. But I suppose it matches with him proclaiming himself the clubs saviour.

Yep.
Seen some right nonsense on various social media with blinkers on in regards to Boner.

Even saw someone claim Boner had mortgaged his own house to raise money to save the club. That’s a new one on me!?!?!:thinking:

As his last hold on the club dissipates there are just three more contributions I’d like to make to Jeff’s assets.

A Rotherham scarf
A Luton Scarf
A Bournemouth scarf

He can take his pick around his favourite.

Only just caught up with this today, as I’ve been on the sauce. Best Christmas present ever. Can’t believe it. Genuinely shed a tear. We own our own ground again, for first time since I was twenty years old. :boom:

Absolute credit to Leigh, Ben, Stef and all involved. Now let’s rip down anything to do with Bonser, sign DJ and another, then march to promotion.

Emotional here in Wiltshire. Lump on.

I still don’t think it’s a mortgage. It’s only Gamble who refers to it as a mortgage - Boycotts words infer something different - a ā€˜finance facility’ or whatever words he used, are more likely to mean a loan to the club, enabling them to purchase the land.

RED MOON Well and truly ready to rise now :red_circle::red_circle::red_circle::red_circle::red_circle:

Great news if this is finally the severance of any link to Bonsor. It was a crime what happened to our freehold but we must now look forward. Every time we re pay some of the loan we own more equity in the freehold and which someone has already said those payments will eventually stop.

Hopefully never see Bonsor and anyone who was involved in the freehold sale ever at the ground again.

UP THE SADDLERS

Also another point . Supporters will be more inclined to spend that little extra if it be at the club shop an extra pint at the bar etc . Safe with the knowledge it’s going towards our team with our own ground . And the leech will not benefit from it anymore going towards paying his rent.

Pomlett said ages ago the deal was probably going to be something like the payments slowly get less and less every year (however that works…) so it will be years before we see a benefit probably.

But it’s a great day to be away from that leech.

I would be interesed to see what my old mate @Dhforever thought about this? after all he does have a lot of insight into the club runnings
And to be honest i would value his opinion

WM said it’s Solihull.

Saw the news on Twitter just as I was setting off for a 270 mile round trip to Wales and back to get my boy.

To finally be rid of that leach is massive - he’s held us back for too long. Boycott was saying all the right things on WM.

Onwards and upwards - UTS!

Just hope that if even half the people who have said they don’t go to the games because of the Bonser issues now actually come back.

Most of them will have drifted off by now.
