Walsall Football Club - So Many Issues

@deldras and @SaddlerSteve
You need to relax a little, for instance our company has only been running 21 years and we haven’t even begun setteing up the website. You have to know someone we work for to get in touch, practically the Bill Murray of the events industry.

Pah. That’s nothing. Going since 1967. No website😎

£15 for the replay tickets?? Are they deluded? £5 sit anywhere.

Ticket proceeds are split evenly between the two clubs irrelevant of where the game is staged and so prices have to be agreed by the two clubs. I’d wager it’s likely that Afreton firstly would like to make as much money from the fixture (and if as you suggested prices were only a fiver would we get 3 times the audience than we do at £15?) and to nullify our home advantage as much as possible. Still with these prices I doubt there will be many more than 3/3.5k in attendance.

Don’t blame them, milk the most money out of it before that real money spinner at The Friends Provident St Marys Stadium.

Exactly this, its a price agreed by both clubs. Unfortunately for Alfreton i reckon it might only pay their electric bill for a year.

Boycott has to sort this lot out. Only got the year wrong.

Isn’t he saying “here’s to 2024” as in the year ahead?

The Wycombe game was on 5th November 2022.

So many improvements and well done to the club with these but….

How poor are the floodlights? Just watched highlights and at the end of the game some parts of the pitch are really dark then you’ve got spotlights in other areas

I said this at the match last night. There are some very dark patches.

Agreed, the flood lights aren’t great. The bulbs that are in place are brighter I’m sure but they’ve retrofitted them to the old pylons. What is actually needed probably was a complete overhaul and consideration of the position of the lighting columns. I think one issue is that the roof almost comes to the edge of the pitch so they always need to be looking down rather than more of a floodlight effect. The lights can’t be on the edge of the roof either as it’s so low it’s blind the players.
