Walsall Football Club - So Many Issues

I agree with that but they could go back to cash across the club whilst they sort out the ticketing problems.

How does that solve all the people that have season tickets, most of our attendance, not being able to get in?

Surely, in this day and age, it’s not that difficult to scan a QR code accurately? Jesus Christ, did they not test this before they decided that was how it was going to be? There’s no reason that shouldn’t be working from day one.

I agree but it didn’t work did it? I am suggesting a short term measure whilst they sort out the mess.

Sure, but I don’t see how that fixes the issue with access, like I said.

My 90-year old dad has a credit card ST but it didn’t scan. He had to argue with a steward to be let in rather than have to go all the way round to the ticket office and queue (in the rain) for a replacement bit of paper to show the bloke on the gate like they were suggesting - assuming that would scan when the card did not.

What is the difference in showing a bit of plastic to someone at the window to authenticate it and showing it to the bloke on the gate (and thus saving a bit of tree in the process)?

And if it’s failed once will he have the same issue tomorrow night and every other home league game?

What I would like to see is Mole gamble and so on walking around the stadium, pre match following up issues raised and seeing the issues first hand. They got to show that they care and at the end of the day, if no money goes through the tills then it’s there neck on the line. Still think there is room for cash as well as card

At least you’d have had some fun if you ended up at the std clinic

A person ends up at the STD clinic because the same thing has happened to them as happens to a visitor to Bescot Stadium - they have been screwed.

It doesn’t really matter what they say. Actions speak louder than words and it is only by improved performance that these issues can be overcome.

Bottom line.

If any other business (that is not followed by people with an emotional connection) treated its customers in a similar way they would have gone bankrupt many times over during the years that these issues have continually been brought to the fore

Yet still the same people are pulling the strings :man_facepalming:

I see they never apologised for the health and safety issue that I put through Issa to them, imo that was more serious than many of the other things they’ve apologised for, was I expecting anything else, probably not but assurances that what I and others seen regarding locked exit doors wouldn’t ever happen again would suffice, clearly not serious enough complaint as it wasn’t acknowledged by club.

Can somebody tell me why the club cant buy or rent a 2 or 3 of these for the Stadium Suite/Bescot Bar?

They’d pay for themselves in about a month.

I think we should defo start selling more signature food that get people talking like some teams do.
We’re from the Black Country , first club to sell balti pies build on that.
What about selling Indian food outside the ground alongside the usual burgers
Use local butchers for the best sausage rolls rather than generic big brands
Local brewers for some proper ales.
Make a visit to the ground a proper Black Country experience as well as the football.
Make it something to remember for home and away fans to enjoy and make it a ground away fans enjoy to visit and talk about to their mates
