I can see a baguette stand doing well. This is why the saddler club failed it need real events. Like a beer festival, and so on

SLO e mailed to say a detailed action plan has been put in place. And we will see improvements come the Stevenage game

Your complaint was put over mate and. I am assured it was spoke of. At today’s meeting

I am of the same opinion of many who have put complaints to Issa , that an open meeting with chairman . And dan mole and Steph gamble. Alongside all head of departments. Affected. By saturdays fiasco. Should have been called for Thursday night

Where they could of been grilled and there answers drilled down into , There and then , As since statement has been issued. By club. We. Have been again inundated with. Complaints. That it does not cut it with many citing club are just paying lip service.

I sincerely hope this. Is not the case and That a detailed plan of action. Has indeed been drawn up with strict timescales. For any changes to be implemented ,

would be a great. Help if club made this plan. Public. Viewing so fans can see the areas. Highlighted. And. See in black and white there. Concerns. Have been targeted

I have e mailed slo saying that from. The sheer volume of complaints received by Issa that club have grossly underestimated the. Anger being shown by fans And that is a dangerous game to play.

The fun days with the cheap ticket offer stopped as well now its just tickets they used to have stuff going on outside the stadium if i remember right what happened to that? Kids enjoyed that saw someone saying bring back Roy Whalley no thanks its bad enough :joy::joy:

Why don’t we get pop/up vendors in that are from local catering business’s, and rotate it so we have theme weeks on? Do something different

So one Saturday, the food theme could be sort of South Asian/Indian, with Pakoras, Samosas etc as hot food…. I’m sure that would go down well.

Next week, Greek, the next time, Great British grub, etc etc ?

Excellent idea and good for the traders too. Do they have catering vans at the Sunday market? Perhaps they could be used as well.

Exactly. I feel daft suggesting it, because it seems such an obvious and relatively easy thing to set up. Give something back to the community, generate some revenue and interest, and actually have some decent food. I don’t get why so-called execs cannot have ideas like this ?

Spot on. I went off on one about the kiosks a couple of years ago on here giving what I thought were constructive suggestions.

Aside from the popular basics (balti pie / chicken pie, hot drinks and crisps/choc) there is so much opportunity to serve up some great “street food” - chilli, curries, paninis and better quality “light refreshments” (homemade cakes/pastries/donuts/churros) - either on a rotating supplier basis at the kiosks and/or outside the ground.

With only McDoanlds nearby the club is missing out massively on food and drink and people are going to be tempted to bring their own in (which we were warned not to a few seasons ago) or eat enroute elsewhere especially if they have travelled a bit.

Linking this to local businesses who would bite your hand off for 23 days a year of trade I would have thought and to the Walsall College for catering and hospitality to give young people a chance to get real work experience and earn a few quid.

Back in 97 our balti pies were envied across the land and we’ve not improved on that offer since. A tale of “From balti pies to faulty pies” - maybe a blog waiting to be written.

I can say that Gamble and Mole used to walk around the edge of the pitch in their suits and hands in pockets looking really important before every game at about 1pm as I’ve been in the Bonser suite and seen them. They never detoured from their circuit and then would always enter back into the Bonser suite , the only issue Mole always asked was which steward was working on each door, that seemed his main concern that no one entered who wasn’t supposed to, Gamble tended to disappear almost straight away, while Mole liked to swan around especially if there were players in there that weren’t playing, he tended to sit down with them trying to be one of the lads, I thought then what a tosser funny how these instincts come to fruition.

The kiosks currently sell Polish branded Coke, Kit Kats originated from York and Iceland’s own Balti Pies, if that’s not International cuisine, I don’t know what is.

Probably because they know it would add further embarrassment to the level of catering inside the stadium. Bringing in local vendors to deliver catering with love and passion for a product they are so invested in will show up the burnt sausage roll, dry overdone burgers and nuclear balti piesfor what they are.

Just like the family room. Not obviously on the same scale but there’s no thought process behind their decisions. They close the family room that’s been perfectly run for many years. They can’t get the kiosks right now let alone trying to run extra capacity! Their excuse is liability insurance doesn’t cover the man who makes cobs at home to sell in there. Absolute joke…… they could have said we will make the cobs up here for you in the kitchens to sell. And not being funny but I’ve been having the cobs for years never made me ill but jeez the picture of burnt sausage rolls made me want to throw up straight away :face_vomiting::nauseated_face:

So theyve closed the family room and the fanzone in that stand? how is it now a family stand then? another absolute joke and a slap in the face for fans taking young kids.
