Walsall’s Foreign Legion

And then he always gave the Ref the sad eyes …what , what I’d do :joy:

I presume Grigg will play his normal position. On the bench.

No room for Adolphus Ofodile in the International Allstars squad?

Oh to go back to the days of wondering who Suntan Man had got in on pre-season trial! Always looked forward to the Hednesford Town pre-season friendly…

Loved it at Hednesford with the half time announcer stating each game …the Bar is now open …always sounded more pissed than we were … :upside_down_face:

Was Trevor Christie, Scottish?

Born in Newcastle, so not quite

Crikey, forgot about him.

I thought he might have been of Scottish descent given his surname. Underrated player for us, I thought.

I’d definitely add Kevin MacDonald to a Scottish XI.

What about that Scot Ollerenshaw.

Scott was an Aussie unlike Scott Dann, Scott Laird or Scott Houghton

How soon we forget - Andreas Makris anyone?

You’re forgetting Tony Grealish in midfield.

Surely Junior would partner Jorge in any side. What a double act those two were!

Neil Emblem also although don’t think he actually came directly from them.

Steve Corica must’ve still had house in midlands to come back from Japan aswell.

Darren Bazeley was one who came direct, solid fullback. Looks like he followed Emblen to New Zealand.

Was Marcello not that good in his time here, I remember him being a decent division one striker with Sheffield United and Blues.

I’d go with:

Ince
Demetriou
Padula
Hay
Vlachos
Hall
Peron
Biancalani
Bukran
Junior
Leitao

Etheridge
Aranalde
Ntamark
Matias
Lightbourne
Boli
Ledesma

We’ve been blessed with some great attacking talent over the years.

Seem to recall he and Mart O’Connor joined from Blues at the same time and helped us to avoid relegation.

I’m sure we had David Holdsworth at the same time too
