What did you do today instead of going to football?

Has it deffo been cancelled? where were you going boss ?

Took supplies to my folks (both in their 80’s) then took my 4 year old grandson to the chase for a spin on his balance bike - is it wrong to admit, I didn’t really miss the footy too much? :grimacing:

Not at all, it used to be my life back in the late 70’s early 80’s then i got married and other things took president, i can take it or leave it now, but i have bonzo to thank for that.

Had a laugh listening to the nobheads (h and J, and Danny Kelly excepted) on talksport having **** all to talk about .

God knows why I listen to it.

Hope this means p45 for Brazil.

And re-watched us bowl out the Aussies for 60, on sky .Tremendous.

Maspalomas for 11 nights, they’ve suspended flights for a minimum of 7 days but Spain is going to be on lockdown for at least a fortnight, so even if we could get there we’d be in isolation at the hotel.

We’ll get a full refund and put it towards extending our summer break in Fuerteventura in August to a third week (hopefully everything Corona related has cooled off by then).

I spent from 3pm to 4:45pm crying .1 match day in and im a wreck lol i miss it already

It’s just unprecedented at the moment mate , i feel for ya, we went to maspalomas last year, near to the lighthouse the hotels are wonderful, but we stayed in the playa del ingles part and it was seedy, never been to Fuerteventura

I’ll be honest I’m not too fussed about not going to Maspalomas, the wife booked it, I never fancied the area or hotel to be honest.

I prefer Caleta de Fuste in Fuerteventura or Puerto Rico in Gran Canaria.

I did say i wouldn’t return, but a lot of people have said Puerto Rico is better, we have been to Puerto Del Carmen in Lanzarote and if we did go back then we would rent a private villa with it’s own pool, because it’s not that more expensive than staying at an apartment, and i can’t stand places where you have to get up a silly o’clock to reserve a bloody sunbed :rage:

I watched the racing from Uttoxeter, made some phone calls and watched BBC 2 tonight. I intend to get down to some serious gardening next week as ā€œspringā€ arrives.

Thought about fixing fence post in garden. Probably do it tomorrow. Watched a football funny on sky where Jeff should have been. Seen it before. Cooked Mrs DS a duck dinner.

Slept.

Me too.

I’m due to go to Florida in April.
That’s looking very dodgy now that Herr Trump has banned us Brits from going.
Looks like all I’m going to get from British Airways is a voucher. :unamused:

I see the foreign and commonwealth Office has now advised against travel to all parts of Spain.

The FCO advises against all travel to Spain due to restrictions put in place by the Spanish government in response to the outbreak of coronavirus (Covid-19)

That means your travel insurance will no longer cover you if you go there.

Happy memories, been a fair few years ago now, but had lovely time around there, weather was ā€˜scorchio’ … All inclusive so plenty of local ā€˜lager’ to boot.
