What did you do today instead of going to football?

Me and the wife went for the first time to the Tower of London. Welcome distraction for a few hours from all the troubles of the country at present

I had a lie in while the other half went out with the kids. Then we all went over King George’s for an hour where I was subjected to races with her 11 year old and his cousin.

Then went home, all had a curry together and me and the Mrs watched the new Lion King with her daughter while the lads played silly buggers upstairs.

At work for a rest today.

Mate of mine was off to Florida today, Virgin we’re refusing a refund even with the parks closed.

However I think Trump May have just saved the day slapping on the UK travel ban :joy:

Out of every attraction in London that is by far my favourite, i have been twice and can’t wait to go again, i was having a beer with a Grenadier Guard a couple of weeks ago, and he has guarded the crown jewels there, he had some fascinating stories.

Gardening and housework. We know how to live up North!
Will it ever stop raining?

Stayed indoors self-isolating and worked out some spurious statistics to prove why we should be promoted if the season is abandoned, thereby providing much needed entertainment for others on this board. Got bored. Coughed a fair bit.

Too right chunk , with the numbers being down we had a bit more of the run of the mill . We can’t wait to come back again in the future.

Weekend in Liverpool… Daughter competing at a swimming meet

Episode 2

90 minutes from Europe

Spent most of the weekend moving house… so was nice in a way that I wasn’t missing the football whilst that was on. Set the tv up with no football to watch for the time being

I wondered where they’d all gone

Very boring weekend with absolutely no sport (of any kind) to watch.
Like most of you, withdraw symptoms have already began, I’m sure it will progress the the full blown version by this weekend.

Had arranged to go to the Southport game on the 28th (National League North) but they have now followed suit and called all games off until at least 3rd April.

Football is still going on in Hong Kong - behind closed doors. This is a big disappointment for one man and his dog, but games are streamed live.

Watching some old you tube memories and hoping everybody is ok

Today the weather is great in North Herts. Would’ve been just arriving at Cambridge Utd now waiting to watch another away win in the sunshine. But then just heard about friends of my brother are seriously ill with COVID-19, then it matters not that there is no footy today.

Just watching bbc world cup replay, and the team Scotland put out against Holland, such names as Souness Rioch Dalglish Hartford Gemmill Jordon, what the ■■■■ happened to Scottish football?

That’s an interesting question Chunk. In the 60s and 70 s all the big teams seemed to have very good Scottish players, and many of them hardly played for the Jocks, they had so many.
Arsenal won the double with Kelly, McLintock and Graham, Dirty Leeds had Harvey, Bremner, two Grays, McQueen, Jordan, Liverpool had Yeats and St John, as well as (Bobby) Graham and Lawrence, and then Dalglish, Souness, Nicol, Gillespie, Spurs had Gilzean and Mackay, Wolves had McCalliog, Curran, Munro and then Carr and Gray, Chelsea had McCreadie and Cooke, ManUre had Law and then Buchan, Holton, Macari and Morgan, Forest won trophies with Gemmill, Burns, O’Hare and McGovern.

Overlapping this time Celtic and Rangers (with our very own Roger Hynd :grinning:) could get to European finals with homegrown players - where has all the quality gone?
