What's your next excuse for missing a home game?

£20 on the gate in the cold and pissing rain wouldn’t be that appealing even if we were playing well. Throw in the option to watch it for a tenner in the comfort of your own home and there’s a ready-made excuse.

Not at all buddy, i would say there are quite a few fans feel the same, especially my age group.
I would say the younger fans are more resilient.

Didn’t know we were playing until I saw the result tomorrow morning. Otherwise would have been there.

I can’t be arsed with the club, as the club can’t be arsed with me. Simples!

Makes me sad to say it, but I’m not even going to bother with I follow tonight.

I don’t think we’ll be sucked into a relegation battle.

Equally little chance of play-offs, and the whole club is miles off L1 standard anyway.

Out of every cup, and the angle of the interest of watching a team that is currently mid-table try to grow into something better in the medium term is massively undermined by the loanee numbers and the fact that there just isn’t a discernable plan/style of play to speak of other than picking the same faltering formation most games albeit with enough occasional square pegs in a round holes to flicker a discussion on the match thread.

As others have said, seriously lacking interest now. Same old story week in week out. No doubt we will concede first as per normal script, boring!

Dear me. Far too much negativity here.

Saturday was a decent attacking performance. We’re heading in the right direction. We won’t lose tonight. Show your support!

That’s one of my concerns I actually think we could make the top 7 because like I’ve said all season the league is a terrible standard but like you say this squad is nowhere near a league 1 standard squad , Imagine if we do finish 6th or 7th and went up with this lot we’d genuinely need to get rid of all of them and start again.

I find watching paint dry more interesting than watching the Stragglers loose at home AGAIN.

Yes you are. Very tedious too. Somehow a post supporting Walsall is trolling? :stuck_out_tongue:

Did you not see the 2nd half on Saturday? I did. Swindon were on the ropes. Some superb retention of the ball at times.

But you just take your knowledge from the final score.

I’d be quite happy with that as it would mean that we were in League1 and so much further from the trapdoor than we are now, however temporarily that might be.

Don’t quite understand people saying they are fed up of walsall being shit, when we have been shit since our existence bar a few seasons lol. I think it’s more to do with the ability to watch every game live on telly, because I can guarantee majority of those saying they aint bothering anymore will still be watching them live on telly.
