Worst Walsall player in the last 20 years

That Sheron chap was wank too. And Shaibu.

Got a feeling this thread gonna be massive gonna run and run

Andy Williams isn’t anywhere near the worst. That’s nonsense.

Carlos Carneiro though … one of the worst footballers I’ve seen period.

Can’t really argue much with that list.

Justin Shaibu
Kevin Toner
Jack Kiersey
Luke Leahy

Some good calls there. I might replace Makris with Shaibu or Manset though.

He looked great on his video reel but the reality didn’t match the hype.

Evran Wright
Allan McKnight
Samassi Abou - although he was only on loan
Richard Taundry

Manset Atleast proved himself against Leicester in the friendly that got us all excited lol
Abraham ngoo shaibu osei-yaw gaffney didn’t get us excited once

Far too many to mention….

Agree, and as THAT Coventry game was in January 2004 he’s held the title for almost 20 years.

Remember watching Petterson in the warm up and he was awful in that. Dropped everything.

Said to my mate that he was shit before we even kicked off but my god I was surprised how shit.

Neither White nor Osadebe were close to being our worst players. Nor Williams.

It is a fairly meaningless question as there were players who maybe had a couple of games but did not make it.

He was terrible and yet still twice the player Richard McKinney was. That game at Oldham. :grimacing:
McKinney made mistakes against Vale and Bournemouth but that Oldham game was awful and I don’t think he played another League game for anyone. I know Jimmy was difficult to replace but what was Merson thinking with McKinney?

I was at that game, he had an absolute shocker! Almost on par with Alan McNightmare. Both of those keepers were worse than Petterson in my opinion.

He seemed like a nice guy, but when you consider the supposed record transfer fee, Makris has to be our worst signing ever? The whole episode was very strange. Whitney seemed very reluctant to play him from the start.

Still, celebrating his one goal against Oxford was special, the Bescot went crazy!
