Probably due to all the league 1 sides we play.
If thatās the case I apologise for my comment
That was Jammaās 4th yellow so far today. He needs to keep his nose clean for 4 more L2 games or heāll get a 1 match ban.
And a total of 5 picked up altogether means weāre no longer top of the L2 Fair Play table.
Big Dave Okakbue.
Has his doubters but he will be sold for 500 grand easy. Absolute class.
If anyone ever doubted the business model. I reckon weāve got a million and a bit in talent out there at least. Even before we go up.
I cannot even describe how these boys are improving my shitey miserable mood in life. Iāve waited a long time for this. Enjoy the ride folks.
These lads are the very definition of the word āteamā.
Mean Machine marches on 53 points to 83 , 31 games to go .
15 wins
8 Draws
8 Defeats
When you write to down and do the Math it gets real very quickly, even a couple of defeats , which will happen at some point canāt change the fact weāve had a very special few months , letās get to 45 points from 23 games and really put the pressure on the likes of Chesterfield, Bradford, Vale, Crewe, Gillingham etc.
Lowe is going to be a very special player, Jamma is becoming the comeback legend, Stirk was a Dobson with movement yesterday commanding the middle, a magic performance from Simkin forward.
Donāt doubt this squad because there is no need to , weāve got this
On to Bromley we march
Mean Machine 2024
They have my total faith, belief and support.
I know itās early days, but thereās something about Nathan Lowe which reminds me of David Kelly.
My dad said Allan Clarke @Cowsheddek and there is an argument to say that Sniffer is a player right up there as being one of the best to ever wear a Walsall shirt.
I said to the wife that this Lowe fella will play for England one day. Mind you, I said the same about Scott Dann and Rico Henry (after a similar number of games to what Lowe has had), who both made it into the premier league but didnāt quite reach international level.
Time will tell, but you know youāre doing well when opposition fans and the national press start noticing your progress.
Finally, itās interesting that Stirk is consistently getting some credit now: this Walsall team remind me a lot of Mansfield when they got promoted out of league two.
These guys have the opportunity to become legends here.
Stiff chuffed with that yesterday. Iād say we were under the cosh for about 60 mins of that game but found a way to win. A year or 2 ago I think we could have lost that type of game by 3 goals but this team just finds a way.
We also have a second 11 (if everyone was fit) that would be be a strong team in this league as well. Massive credit to Sadler and the recruitment team who have found some gems this season.
Biggest win of the season yesterday. That showed how good we are and where we can potentially end up if we keep to our very high levels. Excellent
He is a different player to Clarke although he might well emulate him in progressing to the top of the game . People on here are worried about Stoke wanting him back, Stoke fans should be worried that they wonāt see much of him as the top clubs will surely be taking a look.
He works harder than Clarke and has more pace than Clarke but Clarke developed a great instinct for scoring in the box. He had guile and seemed to know instinctively where and when the ball was coming into the box. His placement of shots to beat the goalkeeper was one of the best I have seen. Clarke had Kirby to ālook afterā him and Lowe has Matt to do that job and we are very lucky to have him here.
I think thereās more than Ā£1m out there if players like Jellis Barrett Allen keep developing ā¦ Jellis in particular has the look - at the moment anyway in his first season - of quality levels like Rico or Bradshaw.
Donāt underestimate how good a win that was yesterday. Wimbledon will be up there at the end of the season. In times past, weād have either drawn or lost that but those 3 points yesterday will be massive
Jellis will be in the championship within 2 seasons
Not our own player but on https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ George Hall is valued at Ā£2M - and he can only get a place on the bench in this team!
His placement of shots to beat the goalkeeper was one of the best I have see
Placement the key word there. Although I was only a nipper when Clarke played for us I donāt ever recall him blasting one in, or putting his laces through it as folk say nowadays. As my old man used to say ājust pass the ball to an imaginary man standing in the corner of the netā
Jellis will be in the championship within 2 seasons
Heās already got Championship scouts watching him
We also have a second 11 (if everyone was fit) that would be be a strong team in this league as well.
Disagree with this, we have 2 first 11ās one playing and one waiting in the wings.

I would pretty much agree with that assessment of Clarke when I say sniffer mk2 I was really referring to that guile and instinct football brain you referred to ā¦Clarke was in a way very selfish but very much had a killer instinct but was by no means the grafter you have to be today .When he played for Leeds a very hard working side he wasnāt Jack Charlton favourite player by some accounts Iāve read. Only reading an article the other day by Billy Bremner weāre he said if Clarke scored a goal in training he ran around celebrating like it was the winner in the cup final tells you a lot about Sniffer I think .
