Seems to be a theme, everyone is releasing similar statements

In Daves case the ball was hoofed into row z again.

Id have preferred something from MS. Obviously his statement will in due course be released to say much the same. To continue to rinse and repeat.

A bunch of my mates watched the game in my local. I got a text from one of them after half an hour saying that our CF was the worst striker he’d ever seen on a football pitch.
Been explaining since I got back that he used to be good, when he played with Lowie, but has been fooked by being overplayed.
Not Jammas fault, it’s down to Sadler.

Sadler is “resting and recovering “ .

Not getting “ too low or too high “ and will be “
ready to go for the next one “

Blah blah . Give me a Tommy Coakley or Kevin Keegan when you actually see a bit of passion .

How Matt was continually picked is one of the crimes of the century . Who picks a CF purely to defend set pieces ?

The Man U lad must think we are a basket case .

The main reason sadler doesn’t have the support is he has never took an ounce of responsibility when we have played poorly which has been a regular thing since january.
micheal flynn for example did not do great but at least he was up front with supporters and said it how it was which in doing so gave him more respect.i think we have needed sadler to be truthful for some time.

It has been obvious to nearly everyone but Sadler that Matt had reached the end of his useful league career months ago. Sadler did not see this, because he did not want to see it.

It is hard to believe that Sadler’s master tactical plan for Wembley was to send his team out with instructions to his goalkeeper and back three to launch long high balls to Matt at every opportunity.

After about 30 minutes, even Sadler realised this wasn’t working and should have taken him off, but he waited for another 30 precious minutes.

Sadler had available to him a specialist centre forward who has played three times in the Premier League for Manchester United, and is the current England U19 striker, but he was given little time to get used to the very different sort of football we play at this level. That would have been understandable if the team with Matt in were winning every week, but when things were going wrong Sadler continued with his failing selections.

Whatever.

Wimbledon players also seemed to be doing this a lot.

Spot on. I won’t give shit to Jamma because he gives his all. Unfortunately his all hasn’t been good enough since he lost his 19 year old striking partner.
As you say, it seemed obvious to most, but not to Sadler.

I agree with this completely . I just knew watching him on that big pitch at Wembley was gonna be an embarrassment and so it proved . Massively over played on the season and should have been used as an impact sub coming on for last 20 minutes only since Xmas
The Wimbledon centre half’s won’t have had an easy 60 mins of football all season against a striker or can’t jump, commits basic and obvious fouls and can’t run !

I’ve said before that I was very impressed by Matt’s mobility and fitness when the season began but following his injury-induced substitution at Bradford he has never been able to get back to that level.
A well - respected, whole - hearted and committed pro who has been a favourite at all his clubs, he deserved a better conclusion to what I think will be his last season - certainly with us.

overall i think jamma has been a good signing and his experience and leadership has been vital to a young team this season.
Sadly age and injuries have caught up with him and it’s time to hang up the boots on what has been a good career.

I wont knock Jamma at all, but i think its time for him to call it a day. He’s not been right since coming off in that horrendous Bradford game.

He had a great partnership going with Nathan Lowe - I’m sure Lowey learnt a few things from Jamma aswell.

I’ll always be greatful for what he contributed and its clear he’s Walsall through and through.

Should never have played so much with other options available. Ran into the ground basically for the purpose of his defencive capabilities. That is not his fault.

I wish him well, whatever happens next for him.

No posts from the hierarchy I see. Keeping their collective heads down. Well done to the players who have had the cajones to post.

Typical non response or reaction from the suits, they are keeping their heads down in the trenches waiting for the all clear siren, then they can emerge claiming how unlucky we were but incremental progress is being made, stick together we are stronger together bullshite, and please don’t be rude look at the bigger picture!! Which basically interprets into No Accountability at any level.
