Hes hurting and trying to put a brave face on it. Can’t fault him. A credit to himself and his profession. Then after all of the triers who wear their hearts on their sleeves will come the suits “echoing the sentiments and feelings of others around the club.” True leadership would be first over the top! Moral of this…don’t hold your breath!

Best one so far. The only message that acknowledges that this “should” have been different and seems like a winners mentality. Fair play.

Unlike those above and those who invest. If I was him I’d be looking for a club that matches my ambition. Sadly, this isn’t it.

Have a look at Jammas facebook post.
He responds directly to a fan. A really honest exchange between both of them. Jamma acknowledges they have let the fans down and couldn’t find the answers to change the bad run around.

Jamma made a decent effort at scoring when he flicked the low cross from Asiimwe between the keeper’s legs, and on another day it would not have been cleared off the line. He was unlucky.

However, after Matt saw the ball cleared off the line, he went to the goal line and crouched down low in his disappointment and to recover from his run up the pitch, while the ball was still live. He was only beginning to get up and return to the action when the ball was coming back in from Taylor Allen.

Matt was in an offside position when the ball was crossed by Allen, and he was directly in the way of Asiimwe, who had run in from the touchline into the area while Jamma was just getting his breath back on the goal line, and prevented Nathan from making an effort to reach the cross for a tap-in.

I agree up to a point, Jamma has been over-played, but he still should be able to do the basics such as hold the ball up without it ricocheting off him 20 yards, or occasionally winning the ball in the air, as a 6ft 3 striker should be able to do! I could have marked Jamma on Monday, even at 64, I’m quicker than him!!

Matt effectively took Asiimwe out - looking at it from that angle, I think Nathan might have reached the cross if Jamma hadn’t got in his way!!

I am not sure about that, but if Matt had not been so exhausted after running up the pitch he would not have needed to rest on the goal line, and would himself have been in the ideal position to equalise for us.

Playing a clapped out centre forward at Wembley, and sending him out for the second half after an abysmal first half display, was a risk that Sadler took. It very nearly came off, and would have done if the defender had not cleared the ball off the line.

Fair play to Jamma, I don’t want to knock him, he’s still in credit for what he’s done this season. I wish him all the best in the future.

Spotted this myself when seeing a clip of the chance.

I think I’m right in saying that Matt fell to his knees when it was cleared off the line and the second or two that he took before attempting to get back in position, could well have been the difference between being back onside to finish the chance from Allen’s near perfect cross.

Yep Chang is a footballer likes a ball to play with .not something the majority of our team have been coached in or familiar with .Chang and Hall are streets ahead of the rest of them in football terms .so was Lowe .

I said weeks ago that Jamma was shot and we were playing withe ten men every week .I suggested tongue in cheek we might as well stick Donavon Daniels up top who’s a big lump. in retrospect for Sadler to continue to employ that same tactic in the final I actually think that would have been a better option .its a tactic throwing you centre half up top in desperation in amateur football .and that I’m afraid is we’re Sadlers tactical nous probably belongs .

Fair play

Honest and takes accountability. Well done that lad :raising_hands::raising_hands:

If only Sadler could somehow show just a little humility.
Coming to the conclusion he’s actually a narcissist.

Good honest statement that doesn’t feel like the marketing department scripted it. I haven’t listened to Sadler’s post match interview but I read in the E&S that he alluded to the January window and not getting the strikers he wanted in as an excuse probably wasn’t nice to hear as the striker brought in.

Love these statements by the players and NoFo.
Love my club.
Won’t miss the bullies next season.

In fairness to Sadler he had to give his views straight after the match. Whereas the players have had a few days in which to pause and reflecr on the situation.
I am interested to hear Sadlers next interview though (not a club one).

You just think how had his shot be struck with a touch more power the man would be a hero.

I do have faith in him and really hope he is given some bloody game time to push on.
