Cheltenham Town (H) - League 2 - Sat 31st August, 3:00pm

He’s still shit :blush::wink:

Job Done, looked so much better than them until Tom Pett came on. He gave them something but still should have seen it out. Jamma ran his socks off as did everyone else. Love Jellis and his energy. Barrett deserved MOM. Love we have Williams to come on at the back. DD, The Priest, Oisin, all decent players but we still have H to come on and he’d get in many back 4’s in the league.

Well done lads

That was a better win than we think. To have 3 injuries in 1 game and still win is a fantastic result. And a mention for Stirk again. Thought he was man of the match. He’s playing so much better now Tierney has gone. And that was spotted by @RedandWhite

Hmm, I think the injuries made him change the team to something more like what he probably should have started with to be honest.

He definitely deserves credit for assembling it as a whole though, and also that there looks to be at least some sort of cohesion this season.

It was extremely comfortable until they woke up and realised Lakin was at left back, they then targeted it and didnt even bother with the other side. The lack of subs available killed us at the end with tired legs.

We ground that one out today, thought the second half was a decent game of football to watch.

hope the injuries are not serious…

I didn’t think we were at our best today, credit to MS with the subs for the injuries we received.
I thought Jamma ran his socks off and deserved our 2nd goal after great work by Barrett.
Lowe could have had a hat-trick, Stirk and Earing had great games. Stirk’s wonderful shot hit the bar towards the end, otherwise our shooting was a little lame throughout the match.
A pity we couldn’t keep a clean sheet, but getting the three points was more important.
Cheltenham worked hard and made it a lot more difficult than it should have been.

Credit where it’s due @enniskillen :wink::clap:

Nah. He’s been one of the poorer ones, has to drop out for Earing whose been excellent.

Jamma deserves a mention. He was limping before his goal, and would have normally been substituted by then, but he got a second wind , both harrying their defence and tracking right back.

Saw the game out, unlike Huddersfield or Everton who were 2-0 up on 87 mins and still lost!

A 2-0 scoreline used to be dangerous for us years back.
