Cat Sadler @WTID
Oh heck I have been exposed as a troll.
Oh damn, what a shame.
In your words earlier GROW UP
Hiw come you still go if it makes you so depressed?
Oh I am so ashamed
Heard his explanation on TalkSport (I presume it was the same one used by all the other broadcasters).
Apparently it was playable whilst under cover, although some parts of it were harder than others. He allowed the covers to stay on as long as possible, but as soon as they did come off the hard parts got even harder abd it would only have got worse with the forecast at that time. His concern was players running from the playable softer bits onto the hard areas and injuring themselves.
Your counter argument is now irrelavent
That’s a bit dramatic. It’ll take more than a few bad results to Result in depression.
Why did you hate Flynn so much but love Amat Sadler ? Whets changed. I think we are worse now.
Well, from a troll’s point of view, Flynn had run his course by then. Sadler’s only been there a short while.
But win lose or draw surely you must still get behind the players, manager and support them
@CatKearns let us all Know when Mat has run his course and that it’s safe to have an opinion that contradicts yours.
Think the fact is now no one is going to take @CatKearns posts serious ever again as we never going to know if hes genuine or just on a wind up oh deary me
Yes like I said, but I still don’t think you can realistically call it off the night before. You still have to give it every chance (granted maybe not as much chance as was given today).
When you’re the only one postponed for conditions and both managers disagree right up to kick off, there’s a fair point to be made either way.
Na @WTID only happy clapping cheery posts about things until like with Flynn that @CatKearns decided we can pile on and call for his head. I’ll keep a close eye on the UTS for that moment.
He did and thought it should go ahead. How many times does this need to be covered?
Tell me about it im setting up a little ping alert on my app and everytime i see his name come up as a poster im gonna get excited hoping this is the day
We were playing away at York one Tuesday night many years back. Snow was falling as we set off and it turned into a blizzard on the journey up. We had Radio 5 on and one by one all the other fixtures that night were announced as off - but York vs Walsall was definitely on. A pitch inspection - still OK. Another one - still OK and ref didn’t feel the need for any more.
The conditions were slowing down traffic on the A38 and M1 so we weren’t as early as we’d hoped, only enough time to park and get in the ground before kick off. As we turned the corner into Bootham Crescent we saw fans start to leave the ground - ref changed his mind and had another look, and no way was it now playable. It never was according to the fans we spoke to who had made it inside.
I capitulate.
I resign.
To superior beings.
Farewell.
Not superior just appreciate other posters VALID opinions
Ciao
All this reminds me of that postponement away at Fleetwood. I went all that way and drove straight back
