D 0-0 vs Forest Green Rovers (H) - League Two - Sat 25th Nov, 3pm

I don’t believe there are fans out there that are hoping we lose so they can come on a message board and shout they were right about Sadler and vice versa

What the hell does Waddock and Byfield offer? Both of them sit on their arses leaving Sadler out to dry.

They all need to be gone.

Good post…I am not sure either but there is talent in the squad. It would be helpful if just once they could all play together and then we would really see what we can do.

Not on which side of the fence I’m on just with with how I’ve put forward why I’m on that side.

Looks as though majority have now turned.
Shame, but at the end of the day the league position doesn’t lie. I don’t care how well coached any 23rd placed side is, they clearly aren’t coached well enough.

I’ve backed MS against my own judgement of him being nearer the bottom of my preferred managerial list than the top because I felt he deserved a fair crack at it and part of me still wants to see if he can get to January and see what he does and if he understands where he has gone wrong and can put it right.

Giving any manager one window just doesn’t sit well with me. However, I totally understand the majority wanting him out and I can’t say I disagree, just that part of me wants to see if he can right the wrongs in the next window.

Don’t be daft.Gross misconduct is sackable but performance management requires some skill.

That may be the case. But surely you’d be willing to accept that on any given subject discussed on this site, be it football or politics, those with a certain viewpoint will be more vocal when something that they feel supports their belief/argument (say a football result or statistic) occurs?

So would I if I felt the individual would implement them to improve. In the case of Sadler, my gut would be saying this is the most your going to get out of the individual so best to go separate ways.

As simple as recognised that even today we did t use Hutch as a 10 until RAM went off….we played with two CMs and Comley behind. I’ve discussed many times why that doesn’t work but some are insistent on it being two negative to have two pivots….

I won’t even go into the discussions I had last week on why Hutch and Gordon have a good thing going on and why it’s actually tactically clever of Sadler to have been playing Hutch off the left……I got crucified last week by someone claiming hutch had to play central….today him and Gordon suffered for it.

Good post Dan. I think that sums up a lot of fans’ thoughts.

Of course you are wrong.

I happily spent £40 today to get both my boys sitting in the freezing cold hoping we could lose so when the delayed train came and we did a bit more hanging around in the cold I could rush back and moan about Sadler and Walsall.

The 40 years + of my life following Walsall home and away and the many generations of my Dad’s family that went before were all leading up to this moment on UTS.

I mean there are some obvious trolls on both sides but come on. We all want Walsall to do well.

Well… you must be a hopeful person.

Do you think Sadler is in trouble if we lose the next 3?

Yes. But with the exception of a few outliers, the majority of users do the same, pro or anti Sadler.

As I’ve said to WalsallOne, everyone is more vocal when they feel a result/stat etc supports their argument.

You do need to. You look really incompetent and unintelligent keep telling us all off that Sadler is a great tactician and manager . How can he be when we have a great set of players yet are almost bottom of the table. Your arguments are no longer credible

A manager is always responsible when the results consistently aren’t up to expectations.

But I’ll ask you again, seeing as you ignored me last week……what is it exactly that Sadler has had that in your opinion justifies the expectations being any higher than the previous 4 years?

If outcome is lower than expectation there’s always a problem.

If expectation is lower than outcome people are happy.

The outcome may be exactly the same in both cases but the reaction entirely different….

I think for some reason the expectation from some, so soon into a job has been too high and a little unrealistic…too soon.

Agreed.

Maybe it’s just the outliers I was referring too…

From the troll who thought Danny Johnson was called Andy Johnson and confused a formation with the attendance!:joy:
