It’s a mixture between direct and possession. It’s not as good as Smith, but there are moments when we keep the ball well if you pay attention.

That’s was rubbish.
First half we were miles off it, gave them fat to much time and space with no closing down or intent.
We were marginally better second half without creating a single decent opening.
Matt Saddler you are a disgrace - you made no effort to win that game when We are desperate for a goal you leave DJ on the bench and bring on Jamilla Matt.

I mean it is quite obvious he never attempts to play the ball, he leans in and fouls himself most of the time. Not saying he hasn’t had a bit of rough treatment in most games but he needs to be a bit smarter. Only a young n’ so it will come with experience I guess.
He didn’t get much change out of their center backs tonight, tough game for him.

To win against Sutton we need to drop Draper - the poor lad’s been overplayed and is knackered. I’d like to see a 442 or 433 with DJ starting, but doubt Sadler would go for that. I think he’ll still start with 4 at the back though as he still doesn’t have a (makeshift) LCB for a back 3

Neither team should pick up any points for a nil nil you should only get any points if you score a goal. That would make them go for it last 15 mins.
Boycott what’s going on with dj I thought we had an open and honest culture sharing with all stakeholders.

The single biggest disappointment for me so far under Sadler. The inability to consistently control games will prevent us from making any serious inroads towards that top 7 imo.

I think the point is that we’ve had less of the ball than literally any team in this division despite talk preseason of a sea change in approach and style of play, and Sadler being the right person to implement it.
Can’t be sure at this early stage mind …
