D 1-1 vs Crawley Town (A) - League Two - Tue 13th Feb, 7:45pm

I was one of the Brighton 12 that went in the same competition (probably different name) around 1992 at a guess. Mark Gayle got sent off.

Was about 30 at Brentford in 1998/99 when we won on penalties. Great night that was.

No need to try and second guess team selection. Sadler has a master plan and is willing to concede results this season to make us better next season. Fair play to those making such an effort to get there knowing this, and shame on those like me that are too thick to understand. (Apperently)

I don’t fancy us, and foresee another early collapse which is so unlike us. 2-0 defeat is my prediction, but at the same time it wouldn’t surprise me if we decided to turn it on either. I hope we do, even though I’m not going.

He may as well sit on the bench tomorrow with his cast on. He would probably get as much game time as without it.

I understand we’d sold 98 as of Saturday. I’ve decided to give this one a wide berth being Shrove Tuesday and all which really is a day to spend with the family and enjoy all the festivities. Fair play to all who are travelling today, I know they will all get behind the team.

You’re talking shite again. Went to Peterborough in 2018 on a Tuesday night in the snow and there were only 80 odd of us.

I was at that one as well, you’ve just jogged my memory

Our away attendances appears to be the current hobby horse for this poster. I’m looking forward to how it can be linked to DJT’s poor attitude, the Pomlette restaurant in Litchfield and Matt Sadlers property dealings. :face_with_spiral_eyes:

We are doomed. Not felt this deflated since I fell down a pot hole in the green zone car park.

I’ve been to plenty of away games when there have been fewer than 150 Walsall fans there.

Think it was 8 who made it to Swansea at the Vetch due to a blizzard in the Midlands

There was more than 100…

But I was one of the ā€˜5 idiots behind the goal’ at Brentford :smile::raising_hand_man:t2:

Not changed then :smile::wink:

Slightly more than that as there were also a few South Wales based Saddlers who had an easy time getting there - but probably no more than 8 of us on the terrace who managed the trip from the West Midlands.

There were probably even less for a game away at Aldershot one Tuesday night in the early 90s either.

I’ve been to a few more where we’ve only taken a double digit following.

Bonser said Thanny was the biggest idiot.
I think he meant tallest. :thinking::woozy_face:

That will live with me forever.

I was sat in the reception at the stadium the once (after the banning order) and Bonser came to the entrance and called me a tw.at :joy::joy::joy::joy::joy:

Fantastic. I’ve still got the apology not actually an apology letter somewhere :smile:

You’d think a longtime Walsall fan would be aware of all this…. unless. :thinking::woozy_face:

I thought it was ā€œBangor University dickā€ā€¦ or was that another time? :grimacing::laughing:

I think it was ā€˜Bangor uni tw.at’ :joy::joy:

Make that 99, though I’m a guest of one of the stand sponsors so will count in the home numbers…! Tough journey after Saturday.

First time at Crawley for me, any pub recommendations before the game?
