D 1-1 vs Grimsby Town (A) - League Two - Sat 25th March, 3pm

Can’t blame the ref for us not being capable of passing the ball to each other.

I stopped watching 10 mins ago but at least they try and play a bit of football, get it wide now and then and try and get a cross in.

We hoof it up, they win the header and almost always the second ball.

When we did have a counter on a few times, only two players forward for us. All so predictable.

Although not great it does look like we are actually trying to get the ball down and play football.

Well he doesn’t have to try to hard in this game. We can do that ourselves…

Yellow card McEntee, 38 mins…

Terrible decision by the ref to blow for a foul by McEntee. Yellow card salt into the wound. McEntee been having a really good game.

I’m not. But he’s over fussy, unfit and needlessly stopping the game. I said he was a game wrecker not that he was ruining our game.

Look at this nonsense now with players going down to waste time to allow another player off the pitch to be treated! Took them three goes to work put the eBay one to go down is the GK!

Ref allows it to happen!!

Ref’s lost control of this.

Are our players aware of each other on the pitch?

Let’s see how much injury time he plays. My money on 1 minute.

Yep this is a mess. Should’ve booked the first guy for simulation.

Thing is, we get the ball back and immediately kick it out of play… :joy:

And the second :joy::joy: and the third :joy::joy::joy:

I agree. That’s embarrassing.

Now I know why we go for the long throw so much… saves trying to pass it

Maybe they should just boot it forwards aimlessly rather than turn back? I mean who on earth are they meant to pass forwards to?

Just end the season now, there’s no positives to take form this … dire

League two at its finest. Something should change after the break, but … a new cup of tea will be the only new thing, probably.

About right at half time.

One mistake by Maddox and a good finish the difference.

Officiating shambolic.

I’d rather they lose the ball up the pitch trying to beat a man, looking for a one-two or anything that might give their players something to think about than playing it back, inviting pressure, allowing the opposition an easy press with the result being the inevitable hoof up the pitch just for it to come straight back. Our midfield make it so easy for teams.
