Updated graphs and stuff usual caveat on errors etc. I think we’ll finish on 70 points and just miss out to Crawley but we’re more than capable on going on a 4/5 match winning run so who knows.
That’s true but letting it do ours too and we end up 8th on 69 losing out to Crewe on GD. Has us winning two, losing two and drawing one. Which to be fair is probably more likely than my 311.
Sorry yeah I misread it and had Crewe in the play offs ahead of Walsall!
In that circumstances put all 11 behind the ball although would be a very nervous watch. But then that’s what final days are for when there’s something significant at stake e.g. 2004.
Well overdue another. I know 2016 aswell but ultimately that was out of this club’s hands and it was a complete stroll at Vale while Burton did their own parking the bus at Donny and got the draw they needed comfortably.
Is that something that is known or are you just supposing it? Logically, loans you would think would apply until the end of the football financial year, which is the end of June, I think.
The EFL regulations don’t mention an exact date, but they do say
“subject to the proviso that the duration of a Standard Loan must be the time between two Transfer Windows, Standard Loans can be for half a Season or a full Season;”
And
‘Season’ means the period of the year commencing on the date of the first League Match and, for each Club, ending immediately after the completion of the Club’s final fixture of the League Competition or, if the Club is participating in the Play-Offs, the final Play-Off match for that Club.
Thanks - that seems unambiguous. In any case, any loan player that had been involved in reaching the play offs would be mightily disappointed not to be able to play in them.
Just posted on the match thread, has been sunny here all morning and has just started raining but forecast to stop by 4pm so don’t think it is in danger of being postponed.
Teams like Crawley are up there on merit, we can only hope they make some costly errors during the next four games, providing of course, we do are part.
