His words are well spoken, his support for his protege is to be admired…but we are in real danger of dropping out of the league right now and, if it happens, that will be his legacy.
Exactly this, we have wasted a decent league two budget on very poor footballers that we are now stuck with to get us out of a relegation fight.I can’t see Brian turning this lot around and that’s all down to the bloke who signed them all.

Good news about a DoF, I think the decline since Smith left might have been less dramatic if we’d had someone good in this role. Worried that the people making the choice might not choose wisely though.

The thing is, look how they performed for 90 odd minutes against Cambridge? we were the better team, so there are footballers in there somewhere, we just need the right manager to bring it out and organise it.
What confuses me is the performance against Tranmere. We were outstanding that day. I just don’t get how a side so low in the league can just perform like that, and then be so poor for the rest of the season.

Not sure anyone thought it was being resolved even prior to the pandemic given the club doesn’t have the funds?
I think the DoF will be given 2 immediate short term objectives.

- Tell us if Dutton is up to the job

He did say whatever the timescale HAD been has now been put back by at least another 1-2 years.

By the time he leaves, which based on his comments and original timescales should be within the next 5-7 years if things go to plan.

O’Connor didn’t keep us up after Keates left, I don’t think the club will bring him back.
Dutton will be gone after the next two games…no pressure there, Brian!
Feel we just need a coach who will just focus on doing the simple things right players playing in the right positions for a start
