Early Bird 24/25

And we should all be very thankful to Mr Bonser and Mr Pomlett for those moderate price increases

Doesn’t mean you whack it up over two years. If it does, I won’t be buying unfortunately.

Price is always subjective
It is very very expensive for a league 2 football if continuous mediocrity and boredom
However it’s very well worth the money for an exciting season with a top 3 finish and a cup run
I can’t afford one so will pick and choose when the bills are affordable and that affordability weirdly increases when we are doing really well

I have renewed mine and 1 swifty squad and 1 junior in the lower, total cost ÂŁ440.00. If my kids go to every game works out at ÂŁ14 per game for us 3 which is really good value.

Agreed mate me and the missus and 2 kids we got the money back for then it weren’t too bad, but now it’s me the missus and 2 young adults, I get no change out of 1200 quid now.
works out about 52 quid a match for the 4 of us to watch the saddlers, throw in the food and beer and it’s 100 pound plus but tbf it’s the only thing we do as a family and we meet up with many friends so it’s definitely worth It.

Get the missus and kids to buy their own!

You got no chance mate 1 at uni studying accountancy that pleads poverty the other at animal college that stashes it like her mom and a missus that can sniff a 20 pound note from 2 miles away, I got no chance.

Yeah and I disagreed with the point then too, but only just caught up. Pretty sure that’s allowed, but sorry if it’s not.

The fact previous owners have been reasonable in their price increases doesn’t excuse our current ones from whacking them up out of all proportion :man_shrugging:

That’s superb value Eddie in anyone’s book. I understand tickets have been selling ‘briskly’ which is really encouraging. Also well done to the club for holding their nerve last summer when there was plenty of unreasonable demands for the early bird to be reopened. Had they done so tickets would not be selling as well as they are now and bringing in Kuch needed revenue for the summer recess.

Apart from the fact they did reopen the early bird last summer.

A trifling detail.

You did

Course it is
But that doesn’t mean that you are right.

hardly

So basically your still whinging about the increase from 12months ago.
Which @SaddlerSteve and myself did the maths for you with showing that it was merely putting things square after the covid freezes/reduction and with higher inflation for the last couple of years, making it more pressing for them to restore parity.

They did but at a different price point, it was somewhere in between early bird and full price.

This time. The first time I’ve contributed.

Nope, I’m pointing out that over the last two years it’s gone up way more than inflation, and that’s completely unconnected to previous owners being very generous with price freezes. That’s why I’m correct for my circumstances. No need to make out anyone is whinging, or being unnecessarily provocative.

I know. If you re read my post you’d at least realise I’d already addressed that point.

Weren’t you just “whinging” about repeated points?
