Former players - where are they now?

Just caught a quick sighting of the Scooby’s behind the goal - owl must have been tucked away in his jacket

Such a shame that he had that awful injury.
Really think he would have been playing at a higher level nowadays.
At least league 1.

Got to wonder if Maher will ever fit into Saddler’s plans. From his appearances in the friendlies, at Bescot and for Rushall, Maher is clearly good enough for L2.
Managers have their own ideas. I’m pretty sure neither Graydon or Money would have included Maher or Sawyers in their teams.

Scott Laird signed today for Gloucester City (National League North).

If he could learn to play as in inverted winger he would surely offer more than what Knowles does

Maher will be Hutch’s replacement, just like how Jellis will replace Earing and Weir will be Priestley’s replacement. It’s succession planning, something we haven’t had for a long time. I’d expect Maher to be utilised next year

Isn’t Weir a left sided “defender” so more a replacement for Liam Gordon or maybe even Taylor Allen/DD/Hussey?

Didn’t think he was still playing. He was manager somewhere wasn’t he?

Yeah, i thought i remember reading he had been at weston super mare or somewhere, player coach / manager or something. Maybe he has moved on.
