Grimsby Town (A) - League Two - Sat 19th Oct, 3.00pm

The second half was a lot better, but there is still room for improvement for some of the players. It’s the fourth division, but even there the decision-making process has to be quicker.

In a nut shell ,concerning slow start to first half ,grew into the game , very poor ref but whats new , great win ,safe journey home you saddlers your early hard money spent well and time you deserved it.

Great to be a Saddler this season.

Four excellent goals.

Simkin unlucky, since 9 out of 10 referees would have given a foul, but he should not be giving forwards and referees the chance to make him look silly.

Definite red card for the foul on Comley.

Love that from Hall, that’s what he can do, hopefully start to bring that on a regular basis :crossed_fingers::clap:

Appreciate that but if it had been anywhere else on the pitch it would be a foul…it is a foul. Disgraceful refereeing and then the tackle on Comley. Where do they find these cretins from.

Brilliant second half performance from us. Jamma man of the match for me as he was a constant nuisance and held the ball up well.

Thought Simkin was to blame for us conceding - ref maybe could have blown for a foul - but I thought it was 50-50 and would have been a bit soft if he had.

I thought the ref was awful. Can somebody explain what was wrong with our first half goal? Tackle on Comely was dreadful - how an earth is that not a red?!

Delighted to see Hall get an assist and DJ get a goal.

Goal of the game was JJ’s volley. Him and Barrett are unbelievable finds for us.

Something is definitely happening this season - bring on on the cumbrians - UTS!!

He’s being closed down at speed by the attacker. Trying to Cruyff turn in that situation has to be on him imo.

We were dominated for 35 and then we dominated the rest of the match. All seemed to change when simkin went down in the first half and Sadlers gave the players a pep talk, worked a treat. Barratt is absolutely class and his set up for matts goal changed the match, such a great bit of skill and pin point cross. I think he could potentially play championship if he keeps improving.

Feel a bit sorry for Simkin, made 2-3 good saves today and was having a decent game but will be criticised by some for a probable foul not given on him. Over all though, another fantastic win, UTS.

Fantastic result. 10 goals in our last two visits there!

Simkin can’t be allowed many more clangers surely.

It’s spoiling the game because you have to plan for the opposition and then overcome very poor officials as well. Inconsistency in refereeing is worrying at least if they are poor but consistent you can adapt but giving everything one minute then waving away more stonewall fouls is just bizarre and managers must have the patience of saints to not be getting fined more often.

Comley refused to shake the blokes hand at the end, despite his protestations. He was livid

It’s a superb piece of individual skill mate and like I said earlier if that’s scored in the champions league on a Tuesday night by Mbappe it would be plastered all around the world.Come to think of it Mbappe doesn’t have that in his locker.
