L 2-1 vs Accrington Stanley (A) - League Two - Sat 23rd Dec, 3pm

It doesn’t matter who we play, top or bottom it’s the same old shite. Complete freak when we get a result, roll on the next freak result.

That was a performance bordering amateur. Outplayed and out fought by Accrington’s youngsters. Defence Sunday league from start to finish. Blowing a gale…so let’s just lump the ball in the air. A lot to answer for there Mr. Sadler. Worrying he can only get some sort of a tune out of a good squad on paper when big boss man is standing over him. Does not bode well at all.

The stats. tell us what a disappointing loss this is. Just as many shots as them but only one on target! Two tough games to come next week now .We are consistently inconsistent. Someone above said we are just an average 4th division team and that is how it looks to me.

Wasn’t great, that.
Conditions played a part in making it a pretty awful game to watch.
Not many positives to take from it.
Cap doffed to the 400 that travelled. Deserved better.

Me neither the true measure of a team on the up is an away performance against team like today to get nothing out that game is very disappointing and a truer test of we’re we are than any of the 4 previous games .

Years of tedium interspersed with genuine fears of relegation make it bloody hard work supporting them.

did we only have one shot on target which was the peno?

Hoof hoof and more hoof! We literally depend on the GK to kick it up field and 95% of the time the opposite team gets it ( all games) we don’t know how to play football! Sadler out

We are a very poorly coached team unfortunately

Accrington proved that you can play football on that pitch, we had one shot on target all through the match, and that was a penalty which proves we can’t play football.

Thought we tried to pass it around more once Hutch and Earing came on and the bad weather had died down. The press didn’t seem as aggressive as the last couple of games. It’s just going to be one of those up and down seasons.

Their fans at the final whistle with their manager was brilliant why can’t we be like that

Terrible performance to put it as politely as possible!!!
No Walsall player comes off the pitch with any credit. Subs made no difference. Knowles was awful but not the only one.
Both goals totally unavoidable and were gifts to them. First half they were so dominant and better than us I was slightly embarrassed to be going in level at the break.
Other than the penalty I cannot recall a shot in anger on target - particularly in the second half when we should have been on the “front foot” (remember that phrase?) after the unexpected and undeserved penalty.
We were well beaten and outplayed by a team which finished the game with 5 academy players on the pitch. Are we back to normal now BB has gone home?
UP THE SADDLERS

Rubbish performance. Accrington first to every ball. Midfield terrible

Draper has gone totally off form.

Why no ram again

Because our manager is shite

Properly weird muddled thinking to recall him, play him once, hook him at half time (when he was actually our best player on the pitch), then just not include him.

Players have gone backwards with such treatment before. Seems we/Sadler haven’t learned.

Absolutely dreadful performance, can’t remember us putting two passes together without losing posession again. I will be amazed if matt saddler is still manager in 6 months time.

We have manifested from hoof ball to launch ball, is there a competion to see who can get the matchball into space ?

Where are their brains, windy day, and we re kicking the ball into the stratosphere

Poor players, badly trained, badly motivated ( now BB has gone ) No shape, no coehesion and no identity of play.

Sadler out BB in
