L 2-1 vs Doncaster Rovers (A) - League Two - Tue 9th April, 7:45pm

I hope he does get double figures if we sign him permanently KC and I’m not completely against the bloke I just think we could do a bit better as regards a starting striker.Would I have him to come on and close down opposition defenders whilst they are knackered in the last 10 minutes? Absolutely but if we are serious about making the playoffs I don’t think we get there with Josh as one of our main strikers.Hope I’m wrong of course.

I’m happy enough with him as a number 2 goalkeeper or a cup goalkeeper, whether he himself would be happy with that I doubt very much.Owen slows the game down far too much and it does come across like he’s playing for time after 10 minutes plus Jackson’s distribution is way superior to Owen’s.

If the other forward ( Faal/Matt/DJT) is putting the chances away he’d be fine. He’s setting up a chance or two a game, our problems finishing them off.

We have missed plenty of gilt edged chances that I can’t deny mate.It would be a perfect time with these 3 home games coming up at this stage of the season to find our shooting boots.Wouldn’t it be nice to travel to Wimbledon on the last day knowing a win or a draw if other results go our way would see us make the playoffs.I have to say on a personal level though that I think we would be found out in the playoff company that’s sitting on those positions at present but they are like cup finals so who knows.

A number 2 you should have at least some confidence in, if your number 1 goalie gets injured. The minute the line-ups were announced yesterday with him starting, everyone knew there was a howler coming. You won’t get promoted with him in our squad. He needs to move on

Never said otherwise - in fact, every single time I have said it’s not the only factor - and amongst a myriad reasons.

However, in my footballing opinion, it was obvious McEntee playing as an 8 was ridiculous. Still is.

I also think this defence is more agile - but also inexperienced.

I also made the point that hutch needed someone who he trusts next to him as the other 8. We have missed Earing badly - we are way less fluid.

Lots and lots of reasons

He hasn’t though has he? He seems to get into the box for just about every cross, but hasn’t turned that into goals scored, even allowing for the amount of rubbish crosses that the strikers have had to put up with none of them have come out of it with any glory.

On a very positive note I am delighted Wrexham are almost promoted !
True fairytale team and a manager , players and owners all at our level could dream of ! The true Disney of football and i believe they will be premier league winners in the next 10 years!
It’s a magical story and I am so happy for there fans and excited for the football community to have the pleasure of being able to witness there magic !
One can only hope Walsall will play them again one day so we can be in awe once again x

Watched the game on ifollow thought we played very well first half and should’ve had at least one goal, theirs was completely against the run of play.

Massively dropped off second half and for some reason completely charging the way we play, hoofing and rushing rather than sticking to what we do best.

Shame we couldn’t get a draw but Donny are in some serious form.

Regarding Josh Gordon I don’t see any reason why we should entertain signing him on a perm to be honest.

Working hard isn’t really an attribute to me, need better.

Most of that team won’t get them far in League one probably mid table at best they need another 4 or 5 in the first 11 to be better than what they have now to do anything up there. No doubt they’ll drag a load of championship players down with the money they have though

Works hard must do better . Pleasant lad well liked .get rid .

No wonder Okagbue doesn’t score from that corner, the defender has his arms wrapped around Dave to haul him back. Shocking from the ref and his assistant to miss that!

We ought to have been two up inside the first five minutes and out of sight by half time, sadly we squandered our chances and paid the price.
They might be on a decent run but they didn’t look anything special as far as I’m concerned.
Second half we fell away and I honestly thought it was going to be another MK hammering.
Although it’s possible to make the playoffs I can’t see it but we’ve made progress as far as league position this season and hopefully we can build on it.

In the Championship, if they get there, they will struggle.
Under current rules they will “only” be able to lose £13m a year, they’ll be competing with clubs with much higher income.

There is also the prospect of a regulator for football.
It remains to be seen exactly what powers they will have and conditions they will set.

I suspect (hope) they will be a lot more stringent than current EFL rules, since those rules were voted in by the club owners. Turkeys don’t vote for Christmas!
