Nothing I don’t think, he is what he is. He scored 15 in one season at Barrow and got his move. He probably just had a good season. Nothing much different about him from last time, puts in a shift, makes some good runs but finishing has always let him down.

Completely agree, was fairly bemused at Gordon off instead of Faal. Flash annoys the crap out of me but he gives you hunger and work-rate, and created that Faal sitter just on his own. Faal has shown nothing so far at all.

signing Faal has made us go long far too often. Today Fall only looked good when it was played into him at feet holding the ball up.

Yeah I thought Oteh did ok when he came on, I just meant I wouldn’t have swapped him for Gordon….
I’d possibly have gone with Gordon and Oteh wide with Matt on at half time….Knowles and Faal off….

Look at it like this if Knowles wasn’t on the pitch how many chances would we have created. Gordon is on the pitch to do the same job yet you barely see him in the final third. I aint saying he had a craker but he was the best player for us Today.

Oddly its the best he has played for a while in terms of delivery. Hes not a wing back either, another being shoved into a role he isnt comfortable at. He absolutely cannot defend.

I imagine it’ll be based on that the ball ricochet onto his hand from his knee and also that Priestly was covering….
Not entirely sure of the ruling but I would think it’s pretty flimsy grounds.

Evans awful since injury
Liam Gordon is awful since the contract
Knowles awful since we signed him
Daniels awful on recent weeks and not leading the team
Comley can’t play alongside someone else
Hutch is struggling to create
I wonder if there’s another wingback in the entire pyramid that has such a poor record of assists as Gordon?
Surely by the law of averages one of his crosses at sometime will actually arrive at the head or foot of one of our own players.
All i can see happening on ups is fans saying no renewing there season tickets again and then buying them anyway. Im not renewing for personal reason but i can imagine being one of those as the season been a let down and ler be honest said for agessaddler isnt the the person to take this club forward, to weak with players and the board as tge signings have been well. Uneventful in a good way.
Very disappointing today. Defensively the worst I have seen for some time. Daniels not comfortable as a left sided CB. Can the lad from Norwich play there? Amazed Faal stayed on and Gordon came off…I would have replaced the former with Matt and brought Oteh a bit later. The Matt/ Gordon partnership might just work.
One other point we are really missing McEntee in midfield. His presence is significant in this robust League but we just have to get on with it.

He never looks to cut the ball back where he’d regularly find midfield players arriving unmarked

He never delivers early and always wants to take a touch and beat a man. For a forward that’s the worst thing in football. There was a time today Faal set it back to him, it was set up to deliver first time and any forward worth his salt will make his movement off the expectation of a delivery….Gordon, not only took a touch but then tried to take a player on and then delivered low onto the keepers hands…the forwards who’d made their first movement had then had to check their run, go onto the back foot and then cannot react again in time.
It’s a goal killer.

Was it a good thing that Boycott was there today to feel the atmosphere at the end and to see the game live or do we think it won’t make a difference at all as to where we go from here.
