I’ve heard that there’s a decent player in the Scottish league (who’s an ex plumber and dentist) MacCavity.
He’d be purrrfect…

I really like Matt but I think we need to concentrate on those of a younger generation.
But as I said, they did have plenty of chances. You’re just ignoring them.
And how anyone can watch that game and not think we were chasing shadows, well, it’s either blinkered or out right denial.
I won’t even ask what his first name is…get back to the 70’s, you scoundrel.
What about Faal and Oteh?
It might catch out Swindon and if he’s on a one year contract with an option, he might want to show what he can do.
It worked, to a point, when we threw in Menayese, and lord knows, we need to take the lead because, I think we’re one of the best in the football league for keeping hold of a lead if we score first.
Todays poor start is not out of character for us. It was very much part and parcel of our early season failings.
One drawback: he’s always got an appointment 30 minutes before kick-off though…
On second thoughts, if we signed MacCavity at RWB, he might get confused for Tom Knowles, based on this description of the fella!
“MacCavity’s a ginger cat, he’s very tall and thin;
You would know him if you saw him, for his eyes are sunken in.
His brow is deeply lined with thought, his head is highly domed;
His coat is dusty from neglect, his whiskers are uncombed.
He sways his head from side to side, with movements like a snake;
And when you think he’s half asleep, he’s always wide awake.“
Total bystanders today , as a few others have said we were just chasing shadows , they were like a cat with a laser pen !
1st goal Dave got himself in trouble by misreading the bounce but why didnt DD come across to help him close the threat down rather than stand off the man DD was ball watching and then Evans staying on the right side of the goal giving Langstaff three quarters of the goal to aim at.
LG and foulkes had good games Hutch , Faal and allen was very Meh the rest need a kick up the jacksie
Forgive me. I saw only a more base element in your comments. My bad.
Phil McCracken plays for Motherwell, I think, Mel!
He and Phil MacCavity are both fine orthodontists though!
Calm down CS ( blood pressure and all that 4 to 6 hrs ambulance wait )
Paul Cannell.
This is far more entertaining than worrying about our bloody football team!
In the voice of Jason Cundy:
“Trevor Christie, Steve Cherry, Mark Goodwin, your boys took one helluva beating!”
Chasing shadows all game? Not for me. If we were then that’s being outplayed. We weren’t so were weren’t outplayed.
We were poor and Stockport, MK, Mansfield and Wrexham would have properly outplayed us.
Not in denial just genuinely saying it as I see it as are you so fairplay.
The first footballer to get a boot deal with Nike!
Who knew?
I see Spurs had 73 per cent possession today. Obviously they out played Newcastle.
Oteh must still be injured or something else has happened. Not been in tbe squad for weeks except for the MK game.
Also Sadler not mentioning any progress on his injury in interviews like he has with others.
Has he lined up another move for next year and doesn’t want to jeopardise it by playing through an injury here?
I love a good rumour especially the ones I start myself!
Yes I’m still suffering from that Josh Gordon keep getting Flash backs .
Sorry, if you have watched DJ this season and think he’s more effective than Matt, I would not be able to explain Saddler’s decision to you.
P.S. Scarr is better than National League
as you insisted was not the case.
