I have close family who know Tommy personally and have done for years.
Sadler is a really big fan of Tommy and was really pushing to sign him in the summer.
Let’s see how he bounces back Saturday as I expect him to keep his position.

Very odd thing to do, he’s no Rushworth.
Feel sorry for Hornby tbh, lad hasn’t put a foot wrong since he signed, made some class saves, but doesn’t get a game because it will cost us?

Don’t see an issue if we have budgeted for it. If he proves to be useless and we can’t afford to drop him then it will be crazy but somehow don’t see Trivela being that stupid. On the flip side if Tuesday was an anomaly then everyone is a winner.
Well the issue is that the only thing that should decide team selection is who deserves the shirt. That, at this moment in time, would be Sam Hornby.
But that said, I’m still struggling to believe it is the case 
You’d have to be incredibly stupid to make that deal.

Its probably a reduction in loan fee depending on how many games he plays but just don’t see us making the deal if we were unhappy with paying the full amount. Plus there would undoubtedly be a 2 way break clause in January so if he is really not playable he would go back then.
That’s what I mean, I can’t see a world where you make a financial decision that may then mean you can’t drop a player. I’d hope that isn’t having an impact on our selection, anyway.

Correct.
Small fee back for every game he plays, we get the loan fee we paid for him back if he plays in around 75% of games by the end of the season.

Think a lot of People putting 2+2 and making 5 here .might and I say might of given Stoke assurances he would be Ist choice goalkeeper when we loaned him .that don’t mean he gets picked for every game. form obviously got to be one consideration taken into account.(fined for not playing him crazy )

A common thing for loans is that you pay x% of his wage if he plays and a larger x% if he doesn’t….

If true wonder if Hornsby was told about the situation regarding Simkins deal at the club ?
It does make you wonder though as Lowe aswell has not been given a rest ?
Like I say if true i don’t like this kind of deal and more importantly it’s not fair on the likes of Hornsby and DJ . Would hope that the club can clarify but I doubt they will ?

More like we get a discount on his wages we are paying/his fee if we do. 50 grand, come on, as if a club like us would ever agree to that
Why would he be told? Hornsby is a player not a director.
Welll there is speculation now so if it’s not the case it’s very easy for the club to say so .
Hornsby is here as a number two i doubt we sold him anything else. Not exactly had a glittering career has he.
