Scarr and Sadler the only ones not being subbed.
I certainly don’t disagree, but we could point to multiple occasions where similar was true. Last time around in League Two, we had Butler and Sam- the latter of whom was hardly prolific- and not a great deal else, and during our most recent promotion push, for two-thirds of the campaign Bradshaw only really had Jordan Cook for backup.
I certainly expect another forward to come in, if Ferrier does leave, but do think that a third youngster in a similar mould to Gordon & Adebayo is more likely than an established, 15-20 a season in League Two man (which- don’t get me wrong- would be fantastic). And I’m perfectly okay with that.
Bates, Kiersey, Facey, Hardy, Holden, McDonald, Candlin and Pring all on.
Candlin needs to show us something, apart from potentially being the next Sean Geddes.
Norman, Clarke, Cockerill-Mollett, Guthrie, Kinsella, Sinclair, Adebayo and Gordon have all come off.
And there’s the equaliser.

I think he’s only touched the ball once since he’s come on. Then again, he is playing the lone striker role and we’re not getting any decent balls up to him.
Attendance has been announced as 1390 with 295 being Saddlers.

And first booking of pre-season goes to Slinn of all people (who then lets in the direct free kick he gave away).
All over, 2-1 to County.
FT 2-1. Seemed fairly comfortable with first team out for first 60 mins. A decentish striker and winger away from an alright side.
Not too concerned about the loss, but surely Slinn and Holden should be out the club now? Holden has seemingly contributed zilch in the three games he’s played and Slinn just doesn’t seem good enough to waste the budget on for an unlikely needed player.

First 60 mins, brilliant.
After the changes, crap.
Slinn, Candlin, Kiersey and Holden all not good enough and I’m not particularly sold on Facey either.
But, it’s only pre season. So I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt.

Very similar to previous game, so I can say, there is some pattern here. Different players, similar result. Only Odra hit the crossbar, not scored, but game was more disorganised after changes. Fortunately, during league games you can’t change your squad after one hour
