Like most, I’m a bit disappointed with the Leak news.
Mills’ comments worry me a tad.
Rose was a decent ‘keeper but I think of money is tight you probably just want one senior keeper in your squad as the loan market is saturated with goalies if you need to go there in an emergency. Might be a sign of Rushworth returning which would be nice.
Hopefully Shade’s Leicester departure is also good news for us.
However the squad ultimately shapes up, with three senior players sidelined I wouldn’t put any money on us to finish top seven just now.

Heard some bits about Fullerton today and I was just left thinking how we ended up making such an appointment. Much disliked in many quarters.

If the Mills comments are about his game time then you were lucky with what you got pal.
If they’re about the general running of the club, and lord knows that shouldn’t be ruled out, very worrying.
I wouldn’t be worried unduly by what he’s said. It probably comes down to sour grapes,which is not warranted. Signed a one year deal…got a one year deal…was payed and given opportunities to play under 3 managers…none of them particularly fancied him.

You’re confident of that? I mean he’s a woeful footballer, but he also played under three managers and a DOF that lasted a year amid accusations of bullying, as well as what other players leaving the club have said.
I personally wouldn’t rule out it being an absolute clown show, regardless of his talent.

You’d hope the Mills comment relates to the club prior to Flynn, in that the rumours regarding Fullarton have some validity to them.
The amount of players who have left recently and haven’t been overly complimentary is a tad worrying though.
Rose was a good #2, but not a #1.
Time to move on and get a cheaper #2.
I would prefer 2 decent keepers competing for the number 1 spot

I’m a sucker for a really good 1 st teamer then a cheap kid as backup then use the loan market
If needed
Most teams rarely use the second keeper except for cup games and keepers rarely get injured
At our level that extra 1k On a backup keeper can be spent on upgrading the striker

Agreed! Also, if the back-up keeper is crap, another more experienced chap could be brought in on an emergency loan deal.

Andreas Sondergaard might do as a cheap local loan option alongside an experienced signing.
