I thought he did well. Didn’t hide even though the crowd were on his back from early on. Look forward to seeing him develop!
Hi Dad, your kids a baller, and oozes confidence.
Just caught up with the thread while having an Eartha Kitt.
Be careful not to aggravate your Nobby Stiles.
No fear of that , I believe he has the screaming abdabs…
Last night, as he was being subbed off, it was Ronan Miah.
I wondered why he was not included last night. He was in the Ireland U19 squad against Gibraltar, and came on for 35 minutes, apparently credited with 2 assists and one shot that hit the bar.
Thanks for the info …Do him the world of good that will.
Been back playing with the under 18s.
Has he gone backwards or just more competition infront of him?
Hope he makes it and is still involved in the first team
I don’t think he’ll have gone backwards but in a young career it often feels that way and appears so….it can be very frustrating at the time.
I often use this as a demonstration and it’s really helpful for young players to relate to….us adults could do with it sometimes on a Saturday after a loss or a poor performance….
I just think early season saw RAM way ahead of where he actually was but the squad size and his hard work put him on the picture. I still think it was one of the poorest managerial decisions of the season to start him down at Gillingham. He wasn’t ready and it was a game we really should’ve won.
He’ll be fine. He’s just 18. He needs a loan into senior football….Cat 3 u18s football and Ireland u19s against the lies of Gibraltar are doing him little or no good at all as his stage of development.
I wished we had seen more of the play. He obviously has talent and Flynn has chosen to display it in small doses. I hope we see more of him before the season ends, if not, a loan move would give him valued experience playing mens football.
Not good enough from what I’ve seen atm. Still time as he’s so young
Sounds like a good thing for him.
Will do him well to spend the first part of the season on loan
Perfect timing in terms of his development in my opinion.
National Conference club would be a good fit.
Go show us what you can do with a view of bringing him back into the fold with 20 plus games under his belt in January.
If he wants 20/25 starts by Xmas then I very much doubt that it’ll be at a National League side. National league North / South is much more likely.
Maybe Rushall Olympic?
Maybe Ireland/Drogheda?
Not sure that is the ideal move for his development. They are going to have their work cut out to stay up and not sure if a relegation battle is best for his development given the type of player he is. But yes totally agree he needs to go out on loan and get some games under his belt in proper mens football.
Might be a possibility, although I’m not sure if his farming experience is sufficient for some on here to succeed in LOI (sarcasm mode)
