54.8 During the period of any Temporary Loan Transfer, a Player shall not play against his Transferor Club without the prior written permission of the Transferor Club (which, if given, must be indicated on the appropriate Temporary Loan Transfer form).
also from the OS match report of our match against Salford on 5th October 2019:
Rory Gaffney was ineligible and couldn’t face his parent club
I assume therefore that it’s included in the loan contract that he can’t play against them.
After trying a couple of times and not getting through i went online and ordered it. Easy peasy and only 11 bucks!
If people want an okay boozer not too far from the ground (about 1.5 miles) then there is the Henry boddingtons on pendlebury road (A666) rather than down in the quays etc which is miles away.
Just rang my old mate who still works for WHG, and the young apprentice with him was saying that there is a car load of them going up to Salford tomorrow, no idea that it is now all ticket, still thinks there are 250 pay at the turnstyle, i can see this going tits up
I really hope we put the effort in tomorrow.
He didn’t play in the home fixture, so if Facey and Guthrie and Adebayo are injured and Clarke and Pring are suspended, then who will be our subs other than Jules and Kory and Rose??
Close on 1400 saddlers at Salford tomorrow great effort all things considered .Sure it will give a big boost to our injury ravaged team . Got a good feeling of a 2-1win as we go onwards and upwards. UTS
Our end might be sold out but I doubt their’s will be - less than 2k home fans on Boxing Day! They have never filled their ground since they increased the capacity to just over 5,100 - best they have ever done is 4,518 against Leeds in the EFL Cup in August. There’s a good chance we might even outnumber them …
Not really sure mate - there are a couple more pubs off Bolton road (A6) on the height where i used to live and also as you head further up pendlebury road but with both you are heading further from the ground again. Prestwich itself, which is just heading north of the ground may have some more bespoke ale places but don’t really know.
I’m going to be at the golf club off the east Lancs road prior to the game before heading up to the match so probably won’t make another bolder!
Actually, the farmers arms is a bit more if a smaller pub with probanly an ale or two on if anyone wants to try that. Not too far from the ground but you couldn’t walk from there, it would need a drive or cab.
If they don’t come before you’re ready to set off in the morning, ring Salford and explain the situation and hope they are sympathetic. No point ringing our ticket office as it won’t be open with us being away.
