Fantastic result, really cheered me up that has. Maybe just maybe some potential solid foundation to build from for second half of the season, hope so anyway!
What a result, probably our best of the season so far.
One defeat in eleven in all competitions, two winnable home games coming up and then the January window. Let’s all stop the negativity and try and pull in same direction.
Stop creating negativity then
He wasn’t necessarily referring to your good self as plenty of fans have been negative (an impatient) on here. Let’s keep collective positivity this evening after a great result and not resort to defensive tennis!
Precisely
Hmm ok.
Remember to try and keep faith in the dark times (if warranted), and be humble and realistic in the better times.
I think we are a long way off being a top 7 league two side, but we are starting to lay some foundations down that hopefully will be built upon in January.
I think if we can somehow win the next two, and head into January in the top half… it might give the club a push to have a go and get an extra player in on top of what we have budgeted for to have a go.
We competed well and though for significant periods we were second best we held out. Thought Roberts made a couple of really important saves. I was impressed with him. Gaffney might be not much cop but I did feel sorry for him at times eg the off, off,off chant when he was being spoken to by the ref.
Our only real threat seemed to be down the left so I really hope that Mcdonald signs up next month. I hope that he and Bates aren’t bizarrely benched for Carlisle.
All in all an excellent away performance!
That’s 12 points from our last six games, which not many can better. That includes a draw away against the second in the league, and wins at two teams who are above us. So that is good. Our Home form over the season though, is fairly dreadful.
We need to put that right, and the next two games give us a big chance to do that.
If we can win the next two we can start looking forwards with realistic optimism, which seemed a long way off a few weeks ago.
DC is asking fans to lay off Gaffney. Perhaps it is time to call a truce. Gaffney probably now gets it that sushing fans is never a good move. Sections of Walsall fans tend to be particularly unforgiving. I think they have made their point and Gaffney probably now regrets it. Try again time?
It’s a stupid move to shush the fans with his record, but if you boo one of our players whilst the game is going on you’re an idiot. Simple as.
TBH, JJ, we’ve had an awful lot to be negative about. But this is a great result and hopefully we can use it as a springboard to a better second half of the season. UTS
Grown men mortally offended because another man put his finger to his lips.
Hopefully they will grow some testicles in the New Year.
Grown men mortally offended by grown men who were offended because another man put his finger to his lips.
Whose offended? All rather pathetic really.
Reminiscent of last season’s utterly outrageous and disgusting hands to ears abomination.
Superb result on the road again. 7 points from tough away games against Vale, Exeter and Scunthorpe is certainly very encouraging. Hopefully we can build on this momentum in the next two home games against teams that are around us in the table.
At the risk of repeating the failing from the January 2016 transfer window, we really need to make keeping hold of McDonald our top priority. He’s quickly turning into one of the standout players in the entire division.
Big credit to the travelling support again.
I’ve got no problem with them having a pop at one of our worst strikers in history after spending £26 to sit in the Lincolnshire version of our away end.
Grown men crying cause they get a few boo’s when they are ■■■■ at there job and giving the fans grief
2 way traffic!
Didn’t boo ive gave up on all that but if they do then they do i wont instantly slate them like most of you do
Great result, Dug in deep at times but deffo done what weve been lacking take chances
Saddler is looking strong at the back, Robbo had a much better game…
A little step i feel today…Huge 2 games for the home form now tho…
DC after match comments about the tactics “i know im clueless but its all tactical” tells me he reads more than he lets on but well let it slip he did well today!
Wow - fancy travelling all that way to support the team and boo one of them who is clearly trying his best. It’s just nuts.

It’s a stupid move to shush the fans with his record, but if you boo one of our players whilst the game is going on you’re an idiot. Simple as.
Okay, then I’m an idiot. Discussion over and I and many others who choose to go will continue to boo. Glad that’s sorted!
