How do we know? They may have been appointed but are waiting til Sadler is back to announce it as it would look odd if they paraded him out with Sadler doing a zoom call from his sunbed welcoming him to Walsall.
Totally. Last Summer, the only signing which leaked was Danny Johnson. Every other signing, the first we heard of it was when the signing was announced. The club play their cards close to their chest, radio silence does not mean nothingās happening.
Itās been pissing down in Majorca, he wonāt be on his sunbed, I hope the weather is better for his second week.
Cracking down on the Costa del Sol. But even so, the thought of anyone in a senior management position going on holiday and switching off is ludicrous.
The long justification on Sadler is because he knows the appointment has pissed off and alienated large numbers of supporters. I predict a really rocky road for Benjamin
Wesley Hill? Whoās he then? I didnāt vote for him.
I agree.Iād say that the players we do have contracted for next season are more than good enough to steer clear of relegation, and the next few weeks will determine if there are actual real actions so that non of us can suggest we arenāt progressing.
Fans - Stop talking, start doing.
I expect a genuine promotion challenge/ top 7 finish this upcoming season.
Sick to death of words. They are cheap.
Go, make it happenā¦
Agree, no doubt he will have his mobile/pager with him. Think we will see a flurry of activity when heās back week after next.
At the very least he will have his BlackBerry and a telex machine nearby
Sadler is a head coach not a surgeon on call!
Iāve heard he went armed with a fleet of carrier pigeons.
19th/16th/16th in our last three seasons. What is your expectation based on? We have been way off the pace, and Ben isnāt saying heās going to go all out in the short term.
This will be our 5th season in League Two. Our average finish during that period is 16th.
Iāve been fed far too much drivel. My patience is done.
How are you even still on this forum? What a trollā¦
And that is completely understandable, however, the evidence would suggest that achieving success at this, and every level is getting harder, not easier for clubs that arenāt bankrolled.
Then they need to start calling on their investors to stump up cash to support their investment, unless the football element of a football club isnāt what they are really interested in.
Perhaps they will when the season starts.
Iām not sure itās ever been easy, itās a real challenge. However, one thing is for sure, we need to be better than we are.
