How do we know? They may have been appointed but are waiting til Sadler is back to announce it as it would look odd if they paraded him out with Sadler doing a zoom call from his sunbed welcoming him to Walsall.

Totally. Last Summer, the only signing which leaked was Danny Johnson. Every other signing, the first we heard of it was when the signing was announced. The club play their cards close to their chest, radio silence does not mean nothingās happening.

I agree.Iād say that the players we do have contracted for next season are more than good enough to steer clear of relegation, and the next few weeks will determine if there are actual real actions so that non of us can suggest we arenāt progressing.

19th/16th/16th in our last three seasons. What is your expectation based on? We have been way off the pace, and Ben isnāt saying heās going to go all out in the short term.

This will be our 5th season in League Two. Our average finish during that period is 16th.

And that is completely understandable, however, the evidence would suggest that achieving success at this, and every level is getting harder, not easier for clubs that arenāt bankrolled.

Then they need to start calling on their investors to stump up cash to support their investment, unless the football element of a football club isnāt what they are really interested in.
Perhaps they will when the season starts.
Iām not sure itās ever been easy, itās a real challenge. However, one thing is for sure, we need to be better than we are.
