Jordan is the strangest appointment Walsall have ever made

So we have a new DoF who has:-

● spent mainly his time working in womens football in America.
●Not been a player.
●Never managed.
●Has not got experience of working in England in any of the EFL divisions.
●Has only been involved at non-league level for less than a year, and is his only experience in England.
●Will have no contacts or knowledge (or very little) of players who have played in the EFL leagues over the past years.
●Has no experience of the level, quality and speed of the full professional game in England.

And we expect this guy to spearhead our recruitment over the summer.:tired_face::tired_face::tired_face::tired_face:

More importly, he will be pivotal in appointing our next manager.

He is another yes man. We really are FCUKED.

I think that needs to be done for all of the positions in the whole football structure. There are so many positions it’s got very convoluted and isn’t clear who does what.

I know things were said in previous comms and at the fans forums, but little snippets have gone round like chinese whispers and it’s not clear who does what.

No matter who they employ as head of football,it’s what Trivela do that is crucial. Trivela are building a management team who all sing from the same hymn book which is fine as long as Trivela show a bit of ambition. I’m sure the new manager will fit in with the way Trivela want the team to play. I just hope they don’t go back to 3 at the back.

I’d love to know what questions he was asked at the interview. In the real world this just wouldn’t be allowed to happen.

It’s not amazing but I’d trust this guy to appoint a new manager and set up the football operation over Boycott, Sadler, Pomlett or Jordan so I’ll take it.

It seems to be an improvement but I’d prefer more of a proven winner that knows the EFL inside out.

I think where he went on his holidays last year was the main topic of conversation

Welcome to Walsall Stewart.

I wish you well.

All it says is what we all already know - there is zero accountability in WFC these days..

I appreciate how negative this sounds but I genuinely believe that if things start badly next season I predict our club will become toxic very quickly and that could very well end our time in the football league…

He is going to get his first test to pass very soon with the appointment of a new manager, head coach or cone dispenser, whatever we call them nowadays.

At least this won’t impact the budget much as can’t imagine he will be much expense given his background.

Can we steal their Kit as well? Back to the 60’s WFC

We are making losses, the club tell us we are lucky to be a league club and they have 2 directors of football and have 0 interest in January transfer windows and have even less interest in preparing a squad that will last the season.

Had enough

What can possibly go wrong when we will have the new DoF, Ben Sadler and Jordan in charge of appointing our next manager.:flushed_face:

Underwhelmed but as ever we should give the lad a go before being too judgemental.

Just looking through the roster:

Owners :- no previous EFL experience

Chairmen :- No previous EFL experience

CEO:- Morecambe (whilst in EFL but a legacy of misery and now non league)

Manager :- No previous EFL experience as a manager.

Head of football :- No previous EFL experience

Head of recruitment :- No previous EFL experience

Some evolution this. On this basis, we’ll be growing fins and returning to the ocean soon.

wouldnt mind a bit of this lol

2 directors of football yet we couldn’t sign a decent striker last January.

I really wish it made sense.

Given the plan to focus on data and analytics, I suspect his 11 years at Prozone in the UK has swung it.

Good luck Stewart. I am amazed by how so many fans have made their minds up about you already. I will reserve judgement until i have seen the fruits of your work. Who you recruit as manager, who you sign as players and how we do next season.

He’s not a Walsall appointment though.

He’s Trivela and oversees the whole group.
