I think he’d be a youth player to be honest, not sure it would be for the first team.
Would’ve thought be a loan from one of our local teams. Makuna been terrible.
Would be better if it was for the youth team, did he play last night against Rushall?
Agreed. Flynn might see something different if he’s been on trial all pre-season, though.
Nope
No thanks rather resign Dale Banton
Anyone at the training day? Any new faces?
Seb Revan?
Here is my usual annual update.
Ronan Mayer will be signing full professional contract today to sign him down long term.
Also signing a young striker today, do not know who. Also we have been offered several players by the Villa, one of whom is someone who can score goals? Is this the same player? Watch this space.
With Danny Johnson, to sign him long term would have cost more money, so deals will be reviewed in January where we could sign him long term. Want to wait and see how Wilko does with injury though, but club are excited about possibly renewing the partnership up front.
Abrahams had a couple of offers before he signed for us. Didnt play Saturday as the deal wasnt concluded in time and he didnt want to run the risk of getting injured so close to the start of the season without being under contract with a club, which is understandable. Only a 1 year deal as because of his age we still hold his registration so do not need an option of extra year, apparently??
Wilko and Labade are not expected to get back into proper training with the squad until January, and then need to build up fitness and contact play.
Caleb Chukwuemeka maybe?
Generally don’t know. Apparently Gerrard has been very good at trying to help us with loaning some of their younger players. Obviously so far those on offer have suited what we are looking for.
Yeah he’s a striker and previously was at Northampton. Can’t see Louie Barry playing another season in league 2 although he’d obviously be a brilliant pick up.
Think he went to Mk mate
Very ture. Wishful thinking on my part!
I think physically/technically he’s exactly the sort of defender Flynn likes; big, strong, mobile, comfortable with the ball… but you’re right something must have gone wrong at MK Dons and if it was an attitude issue then you’re spot on that Flynn wont stand for that. But as @longdogs mentioned it’s not likely he’d want to come here and warm the bench anyway.
We know that Gordon, McEntee, Earing, and probably Riley (seeing as MF has said he’s seeing a specialist today) are also ruled out for Saturday, but any news on Allen after his knock against Solihull? And any other fitness scares? Do we have enough fit players to name a full bench or are we going to fill it with the untried kids?
6ft 3 and fast apparently.
I’m pretty sure the gaffer said we played the last 10 against Solihull with 10 as a precaution as he couldn’t risk Allen might be wrong but I’m 99% sure mate.
He did - but did the precaution work?
Allen and Earing both training today, as seen in the videos on Twitter.
