It is probably roughly on a par with the 4 sides who got promoted last season, certainly none of them would have been hugely bigger than ours. There are some significantly higher spenders but given the relative budgets of other successful sides at his level in recent seasons I see no reason why the current budget isn’t sufficient to at least be ‘competitive’.
