In the absence of facts, rumours are what keep us interested!!

Guess we will find out
Wouldn’t be suprised if we can only get free loans
Huge decrease in season tickets and huge reduced match day sales after price increases
Clubs In trouble

So we currently have ten first teamers, if we can only afford loanees then we can only have five of those in a match day squad.

So we can only afford to have 15 players next season?

Yeah that’s a load of rubbish

Cheap manager. No coaching staff. No transfers. People will assume a huge budget slashing exercise by Boycott. He’s not doing himself any favours

Heard last night that the club have asked for volunteers to go watch pre season games on St Georges playing fields in Bloko, and report back to them with any suitable signings, must admit i think there is some truth in it because a mate of mine who runs the Clayhanger colts has been asked to supply names of any players that may be interested in going for trials at Essington
So at least the club are being pro active

Have to say @NortonRob has got some bites with that bait.

Let’s be honest part of the fun about being a football fan are the rumours, they are not unique to Walsall FC and there have been plenty of corkers over the years. Think the only one that came true was when we signed Merse !

Furthermore we have often heard the ‘manager X turned us down when he saw the budget’, pretty much every time there is a change in the hot seat we hear exactly this. Problem is there is most likely an element of truth to it, managers are ambitious and why take a job where you start with one hand tied behind your back. Not good for your reputation or health when it inevitably goes belly up.

Anyone know if rushall have made any signings, but seriously am a little concerned as no news from the club is concerning. With a new team to build and new playing staff to get in place. Will the jigsaw be put together as one prior to pre season or will there be massive gaps. That makes the team disjointed

Here’s a view from a Carlisle mate of mine on sho-silva:

Striker! Got injured in April last season into October of this season with a bad hamstring tear, then been out all this season pretty much. He played a massive role in keeping us up last season. Signed 18 month deal just before simmo took over, proper nuisance upfront good at bringing people into play, got a few important goals, just been really unlucky this season. Really popular and highly thought of and has won awards for his community work while at the club, lovely fella by all accounts, really hope he does well wherever he ends up. 28 years old and a club just below the level of the ones in the top 7 is about his level. Would be an excellent signing for you I think.

Maybe worth a punt on a deal that favours the club i.e. cheap and short term deal initially if rhe rumour is true.

Great. So he’s ideal for a team that don’t, y’know, want to be bothered with that whole promotion thingy.

Thank you King Crod, something worth a read, having scrolled through endless moans and groans.

Quite a delicate “up yours, Walsall” I thought.

Well that sounds like he ticks the boxes Sadler has been quoted on, players with the right character. Would seen like a useful squad addition.

Reminds me of Kiernan, top bloke off the pitch which is always to be commended but average by league two standards and coming off a major injury.

Walsall Fan TV (the joy and the pain) says we’re in for Jordan Graham from the Blues, made 25 appearances for them in the Championship last season. Also said we’re in fir Andy Dallas, saud we had a big bid for him turned down previously when he was under contract at Solihull and at 23 Sadler can mould him into a top striker. Stephen says the new kits are trendy too.

Possible return to Walsall as he would be in Sadlers little black book of contacts.

Would you have him back?
