It was duttons aswell and he was doing it by himself and we wanted him out. Atleast Dutton would try a different formation once I a while and try and change a game. Taylor’s shown nothing yet again
I dont know, that performance at Southend sticks out as one of the worst I have ever witnessed as a Walsall fan. I’m not sure we have sunk to those depths - yet

I was one of the few that thought he was doing ok with the hand that he was dealt when DC left. His position at the end of the season, once we were safe was untenable and I supported the change.
MT has a good pedigree as a footballer. He needs time.

Taylor should on the phone to Pomser tonight asking for more signings if he isnt and it does not happen i will question him then.

The malaise at this club is going to take longer to sort out than most of us thought. The fact we have very few youngsters coming through is evidence of that. We are clearly not going to get anywhere near promotion this year now and although there has been some improvement over last season it it clear much more needs to be done. Until a week or two ago I was optimistic the signings we made in the Summer would be enough to turn us round but it is clear that another 5 or 6 players are going to be required to turn us into a promotion team. I don’t see that happening in this window so we are going to have to wait until the Summer recruitment. As Walsall is my team I am prepared to wait but at my age I wouldn’t want to wait much longer!!!

Dutton was definitely better than some on here felt, managed to make the defence tight, we just didn’t have the creative players to make anything the other end.

There where some questionable decisions today but you’d have to be mad to want Taylor out at this point. Look at this side, the players and squad produced, do you think he’s doing a bad job with it? I certainly don’t.
Our most creative midfielder is a first season player signed from non league. There’s one striker in the squad and he’s a loan. There’s one left back in the squad and he’s a washed up has been. Our first choice left winger couldn’t cut it at Harrogate Town.
I can’t criticise Labadie, Wilkinson and Monthe. I think we were all impressed when they were signed. But I can’t help but feel there was a serious case of “job done”after those signings were made. Just sign a bunch of players and a few random loans to go around it and sorted! Shock horror, turns out that isn’t good enough.

Taylor has a lot to learn but the last 4 managers can’t all have been useless, can they? There must be another reason for our poor performance over the last 5 seasons. Could it be that we don’t invest enough in the team?!! Not signing a single striker of our own in the summer surely points to that conclusion. We are going nowhere with the current business model, perhaps apart from non-league football!

From what I have seen and heard I think the season ticket holders should either make a decision to go or not, and floating fans should just stay away until the club decides to actually pump some investment into the team, and actually “give it the go” that omelette promised.
But anyone thinking of of buying one of those half season ticket thingies should spend their money on a brain scan
