He’s not long signed a new contract, why would he leave
Tbh can’t understand why he was benched today strange one
I could certainly see Kinsella being a target for most of the club’s in this division and a good few in Lge 1 , he is any manager’s dream always 100% and very versatile and a good disciplinary record considering his style of play .
In my considered opinion a very underated player for WFC .
If there is any truth in this rumour his transfer value is / should be substantially more than 80k
If kinsella was sold for 80k I’m sure some posters on here would be delighted lol
You are probably correct unfortunately. but anyone who actually goes to the games and has even a basic knowledge of the game should be able to see his value to most teams at this level
I’m not sure why anyone would be delighted.
Like last year, by being an average player in a pretty poor team he is one of our stand out players. For as long as we have him our chances of being relegated are slimmer.
Today of all days was a day for him to revert to right back. A position that might facilitate him playing at a higher level.
One average is harsh and two the ambition to play him right back is really weird when he’s consistently our best midfielder.
Exactly what I said too.
For me, it tells you everything about the lack of clear quality in this squad. There’s some battlers sure, some players who can produce a bit of individual brilliance at times… but I struggle to think who out of our lot would get in a team in the top 7. Let alone league one.
Kinsella
…. Which isn’t hard.
Different positions but if we use the word ‘midfielder’ as a collective - then I think Earring is a much more gifted player. I’d like to see our record with and without Labadie too. Certainly over his career, Labadie has played consistently in better sides than Kinsella.
Bit of a moot point in all fairness - I’d play Kinsella certainly at the moment when the chips are down. But let’s not kid ourselves, he’s not going to be a driving force in a side pushing for something more than average.
Losing Kins for 80k is an archetypal Walsall FC business move if you ask me
Didn’t say it was. I’m just bored of this now. I get it you don’t rate him, doesn’t matter how many MOTM or player of the seasons he racks up, it’s because he’s good in an average team. How that proves he’s not good enough I’m still baffled by but I’m passed discussing it now to be honest
You asked me for that record before and it’s largely the same for Labadie as it is for Kinsella.
Can’t we just clear up the confusion concerning Kinsella’s future?
I’ll just ask Ash Taylor on Insta!
I just put it into context - he’s average in a poor team. Hence he stands out. I’ve also just said I would definitely be playing him right now - as a middle two of him and Labadie with Earring just advanced.
I don’t think it’s that controversial to be honest.
The controversial bit is you calling him average (despite him consistently being better than average in our average team) not that you’d play him. Saying you’d play our best midfielder (gifted is a different thing) isn’t controversial at all.
Following that line of thinking then wouldn’t he be even better in a better team ?
Sorry, it’s not controversial at all. He is very average - which is fine if you want to be a league two footballer. Not every team will be made up of excellent footballers in the whole squad
Average by being better than average. Hmm. Ok. Like I said I’m passed the discussion. Fair enough
That’s almost correct apart it should say he’s generally good in a poor team
Kinsella Labadie sitting and earing CAM is what we should be doing.
