I was surprised he was let go, we like to give injured players a bit more time to get to speed but we didn’t with Wilko, just the 6 months after Christmas trying to get to match fitness.
100% a player there, does anyone remember when Flynn got sacked and MS played Wilko in a CAM role for the last few games of the season. The creative position seemed to suite him more than a central striker. If we get him on the cheap I think he could be a really good squad player.
