So after we’ve been told we have a ‘very competitive budget’ for this division and we have money left over for January, how are these players out of our wage bracket?
Are we looking beyond our means hence these players being too expensive? Are most other teams paying above the odds and we won’t? Have we been lied to about the budget as Northampton managed to sign Marshall yesterday? Always seems to be contradictions with WFC

DC must have been absolutely desperate for a job last summer, if all this he is saying about the budget is actually true.
It all sounds very alarming for us fans, as it will be a long long time before we might get out of this league and back into league one.
Probably leaving out the other way is more likely

Same old same old … Notice none of this basically no money in the pot was mentioned at the fans focus meeting a week or so ago .

They say a week is a long time in politics. This must also apply to Walsall FC …DC clearly gave the impression at the fans meeting that a winger would be signed. He went as far as say it would be someone with over 100 hundred appearances…I thought that mean’t he had someone in mind who would sign this window. I don’t like this at all and I say that as someone who is generally supportive of the Club. If we wish to rebuild as a Club then honesty with the supporters is paramount.

What do we pay he has been going on for months saying we will get players I have saved for the transfer window now theres no money, why what the hell do we pay minimum wage for christs sake. We will get no where like this I will not renew my season ticket if this is all we going to get I really couldnt afford it this year but I thought the club had changed finally should have known better.

I have tried to be positive and patient this season but it’s as if the club just like to drain away any optimism that you may have . It’s so frustrating watching other teams with so called lesser resources sign decent players.I won’t be attending tomorrow’s game with Morcambe.

The thing is though mate fans will only take so much, first of all we are told we have a competitive budget(although they didn’t tell us it was with Rushall Olympic) then we have money left to sign a decent winger(now we are a million miles away) the lies have to end somewhere? it’s like supporting a walter mitty 11.
