Can’t see us winning this one
Can’t see us winning any game for the last 3 years
We are Walsall - we gave bottom placed Scunthorpe hope!
How many of those remaining 12 were draws under Flynn & Sadler, I’m no stat unfortunately, but I bet not many were wins!
Yeah, ok, but that’s not the message you started with.
I’m looking forward to a good game tomorrow. I prefer seeing competitive games where the opposition tries to succeed rather than than passively rolling over. Hope Walsall win but more keen to see them play well as it’s still very early days.
We need a win tomorrow. A loss the pressure will really mount on clueless Matt
Hahaha just popping in to say its good to see you back fella - and a great post to return with
An elongated break away from this site is a good thing. I usually have a few every year. Sometimes more…and it’s time for another right now. There’s only so many times you can post and get pretty much the same responses that you have had from the same people for 5+ years. How some can beleive what they write, over and over and over again, is a source of total bemusement for me. Its literally insanity. Then there are the trolls posting day in, day out, just for a reaction
Ive said everything I can say over the last few weeks to where we find ourselves and the issues we have and will continue to have.
Lets hope we are all feeling a little more light hearted after tomorrows result. I’ll check in again for a dose of more Walsall FC excuse bingo in a month or 2
Great to have you back @el_nombre - I enjoy your posts.
Kinsella’s still shite though
Lets hope! At least that would be actually positive, rather than celebrating the number of draws we’ve had at home this calendar year, or pretending that we are knocking the ball about like prime Barcelona in an unfortunate loss to league two opposition.
Well put, we all know that performances have been slightly more ‘entertaining’, but regrettably we keep losing or grabbing a draw from the vice grip of a victory.
Ya never know, perhaps tomorrow ‘might’ be different…
Won 4 of our last 14 in 2023 in the league, home form isn’t as bad as my memory recollects, our away form however… still yet to win an away game in 2023 the joys of being a Walsall fan
3-1. DJ and Draper’s partnership blossoming with ‘to you, to me’ type goal assists. The joke city kid slicing a clearance into the saddlers goal and then making up with a towering header from a late corner.
Ill be cheering the goals loudly, but mostly shaking my head and complaing to the missus. She’ll be complaining that i made her watch this on our anniversary.
Let’s hope you post something about the game too
Gonna ensure a win for us by betting on Colchester/Draw double chance. Very much looking forward to tomorrow, no child with me this time so first time in a while I can watch the game fully engaged and tempted to train it so I can have a drink beforehand to enhance the experience of a thumping victory. UTS!
I haven’t checked the score with trains yet but I believe they aren’t stopping at Bescot again.
Looks like there’s some from Tamworth to Walsall so can get a taxi or something. Just need to get there so no return required which is useful
Correct, nothing stopping for a couple of hours either side of the match.
The last trains arriving before the game are 1200 ex New Street, arr 1222
and 1207 ex Rugeley, arr 1241.
The only trains after the game are 1922 to Walsall, 1941 to New Street. There are no trains from Bescot back to Bloxwich / Cannock/ Rugeley after the match, you’d need the 1820 from Tame Bridge to Walsall and all stations to Rugeley.
All train times subject to late notice cancellation on the day!
I just checked on the national rail page and it is saying the last train back to Cannock (Rugely Train) is 18.29 from Walsall, which it was last week. Just about made it!
Yep the 1829 from Walsall is the same train as the 1820 from Tame Bridge, it depends where you can get to. TB is about a 30 minute walk, Walsall similar I think.

Could this okabague chap come in?
1-1. 4653 in attendance.
