Has anyone posted a link yet to Flynns post match interview? I can’t seem to find anything.
Nice one mate appreciate it
I’ve said this many times, Monthe Is rapid and Daniels is also not slow.
I dont see any issue with pace in that back 3.
Did your little one enjoy it? Great match to introduce them to hopefully become a lifetime fan.
He certainly is when he gets there his acceleration isn’t but that’s nit picking and throwing a bit of balance in.I absolutely agree we have no issues though this lot look more than capable of dealing with league two.Their number 9 was a real handful at times yesterday and will score goals but Clarke had him sussed out early doors.
Wonder what time we will get feedback from the debrief. Can’t wait to read what Everton Andy made of it all.
Watching the goals last night it reminded me of watching Quest and seeing teams score like that and wondering why we couldn’t, and yesterday answered my question.
Gave great insight into the team, when Tom Heslop referenced DJ celebrating his hat-trick & MOTM, Connor’s response was that he didn’t drink…
Major difference to under Taylor is the fitness and commitment, we looked knackered after 6o mins last year. Also seems a togetherness and players talking and instructing others on the pitch
What a great performance.
If this keeps up, then Flynn is going to have a few tough decisions.
Where does Riley fit in?
Who will he leave out of the match day squad?
And he still wants more signings!
Attractive, incisive, exciting football.
We probably had more chances than in the first 6 games under MT.
It helps playing 2 strikers, having a #10 who can play a bit, and wing backs who are quick and fit enough to do the job, a defensive midfielder (Comley) who can also pass it forward, and a squad that can bring on 5 subs who can all contribute. How times have changed!
A few more performances like that and the crowds will reach 6000+.
Is Hutchinson on a 1 or 2 yr deal?
1 year and the club has the option of another year.
We’ve completely switched with Hartlepool. Last season at their place, they battered us. Only heroics from Rushworth saved a six or seven goal humiliation. Nicky Featherstone running the show.
Twelve months on and Featherstone cut a desolate figure as he chased shadows whilst it was their keeper that prevented humiliation.
Interesting comments about bringing in more players. Cover for left back and I’d be more than happy to go forward with this lot.
It was an amazing performance. Take nothing away from it. Hartlepool though we’re desperate. Poorest Team I’ve seen down here for the last few seasons. Surprised at the amount of recruitment from the Scottish lower leagues from Hartlepool. Naive from the manager as the standard is so low. He’s the ex manager of cove rangers
Thinking out loud, but depending on how long Gordon is out, i’d say he might want LB/LWB cover, CB cover and another forward player maybe.
I do not think that is true. We won because we played exceptionally well. They played some football and were better than some of the teams we saw last season.
I personally thought Hartlepool started well and had plenty of the ball but it was us who had the first shot on target then took the game by the scruff of the neck after 20 odd minutes. It’s very early doors but I have a feeling they won’t do what West Brom did when we scored 4 against them all those years ago.
Think your right most of the league 2 reviews had Hartlepool in and around 20th place
