W 4-1 vs Sheppey United (A) - FA Cup First Round - Fri 3rd Nov, 7:45pm

We all said that in the pub last night mate.Maybe there was a good reason for not doing so,maybe the old faithful Health and safety :man_facepalming:t2: who knows.

Thanatos said.
The only issue being we never live in the physical ‘now’ but that’s for another thread

I sincerely hope not . . .

The man I stood next to said he’d mentioned it to someone from Sheppey and they didn’t want too many away fans in order to try and give themselves a bit of an advantage.

Was the Merthyr game on TV? Or was it on Sky?

Especially Glad they lost then if that’s true

No disrespect to Sheppey but it would have taken a bit more than that to get a result against us.The difference between our level and theirs was stark and tbh I was expecting a tougher nights work.

It does not really matter that much if he is injured, because Sadler is not going to play him if he can help it.

For DJ it is like being back at Mansfield.

Sorry Scoob but didn’t you mean ‘Stirk’

Looks like he won’t have to worry about DJ being cup-tied when he signs him in January.

Fantastic to see

Didn’t watch the game but read this thread.
Only Okagbue and Stirk don’t get criticised by someone somewhere in this thread. Proves that we all have opinions and we all see things differently. Shame we can’t just focus on the good things.

Just extended his contract have Swindon. Oh dear!

What is very surprising is that he hasn’t made a substitution during the first half.

He’s just brought Kinsella on.

Now 4-0!
