No, I saw it in the legs of a few towards the end of the first half. It’s very important we rotate now.
If you’re players aint cream crackered at the end of an half then aint working hard enough. Dont worry the athletes have a 15 min break to re energise
I get where you are coming from however it’s a bit like saying there is no point in enjoying your holiday because it will be soon be over then you will be back at work and life will be shit

Oh no mate - I enjoyed today. My boys did too more importantly.
I am just pointing out (like last season) that we can’t flog the players with this style and expect the same levels of performance.

An enjoyable game with 4 great goals by us. Dont think it was a great performance but entertaining game. Although i think Tranmere looked half decent without creating a lot. Flint was immense as usual.
Warrington and Finnegan doesn’t work for me thought they both let the game bypass them, we improved when Comley came on, and Burke really struggled at times was a tough afternoon for him.

That mistake can be forgiven when you make up for it, and boy did he with that second goal. He wasnt the only one who stopped either.
After pumping up Elvis all week - I thought today was his worst game for us. Looked out-muscled and a bit lost for most the game.
If i was a Tranny I’d be in shock at that result. Thought they were just better at actually playing football, defo didn’t see it as a 4-2 performance from them.

Just got back and what a crazy game
Great first 10 mins
Flat for half an hour
They get back into it
Great time to get a second just before HT
They had a lot of the ball and a few chances
We had a fair few good efforts saved by a very agile bloke in his mid forties!

Most of the players have played 4 games in the last 4 weeks there professional athletes. I understand you can’t really push for Sadler out given the results but trying to force the line that the players are running on empty is a little embarrassing given we are only 9 games into the season

In all fairness we’ve rotated well, last week both midfield’s came off after the hour mark similar today.
Also both strikers have played 70/75 mins the past two weeks.
Lakin came in after a weeks rest, and Jellis will do similar over the coming weeks. Wing backs are probably the only area we need back up.

Why not? I’m not against constructive criticism, I have posted enough of it.
I couldn’t even make the game today, but I have still got that Saddlers winning buzz.
I never expected us to start this well. There will no doubt be bumps in the road, but we are fighting it out at the right end of the table, so there will be bigger games to go to, with some real meaning to them. It’s not all bad.
And no, I haven’t forgotten last season, don’t think I ever will but these lads are doing well right now.

Thought that result was thoroughly deserved.
Shout out to Joe Murphy in goal for Tranmere - it could and probably should of been 6 or 7 in the goals scored column for us.
Absolutely crazy to think that he was our Goalkeeper when I was 16. Im 36 in a few weeks.
