Some good finishes in that lot what the hell happened?? I’ve heard there’s some new nets being delivered today the other 2 are knackered.

Just watching those goals again, I think Holden had a massive hand in all of them.

Fair play to him.

Forrest Green started a sixteen year old and two under 18s. And 10 men.

Not getting carried away with this at all

Christ we beat The FGR youth team, I’ll take nothing from this.

Nothing more than a training session.

Explains why we played so well

Some charming words here from Mr M Cooper. My personal faves concern the sending off and the relative importance of their next proper fixture.

#perhaps!

Bit grumpy ain’t he!! Wouldn’t wanna be the journalist having to deal with him week in.

And we think DC comes across as arrogant, that blokes a prize ■■■■■.

Thinks he’s a somat special that Mark Cooper… What a ■■■■■.

Turn the volume up after our penalty. The sideline comments on the sending off are the best moments from that training footage.

Those calling him a ■■■■, and what have you, do you prefer DC’s post match hanging individuals out to dry approach. Or the weekly sound bites?

What I see there is a man who is steaming inside but is saving his comments for his players. He’s rightly ■■■■■■ off that his team have just been turned over 6-0 and not particularly arsed to have to answer inane questions from the local hack, immediately after a tonking.

Nowt wrong with that for me.

Regardless of opposition, Gordon getting going and building something of a partnership with Lavery is an immense positive. Also Kinsella after getting berated for not shooting at the weekend scoring from outside the box will do him the world of good.
Confidence is everything in football, and this will do them nothing but good.

I even saw them smile!

You’ve just got to hope two things come from this, Mcdonald getting more game time and actually having a front two with a bit of understanding. I don’t think there’s any way we should be in as big a mess as we are, there should be enough quality in that squad to put out a half-decent L2 defence and midfield, its been DC’s tinkering not helped by some injuries that has caused the shapeless mess of the last few games.

If the highlights from last night prove anything it’s that we can be far more effective if our strikers don’t operate 40 yards apart. There were times on Saturday when Abebayo and Gaffney were in different postcodes.

Let’s hope Gordon and Lavery can strike up a good partnership and are allowed to develop that through consistent match selection.
