We should remember that everyone is available in this transfer window, even those in contract, if we choose to buy.
Perhaps we should be looking at:
Jamille Matt, (FGR) Armstrong (Harrogate) Bogle (Newport) Hemmings (Tranmere) Umerah (Hartlepool), Adeboyejo (Burton) May (Cheltenham) to name a few.
I understand that it may cost in excess of 100k for most of these, but nearly all of them would represent a sell on value, should we eventually sell.
Its about time we invested in quality and 2-3 year deals rather than scouring the free transfer/loan route

If we can get in two quality Centre forwards (one being a target man) - then I think we are going to a good bet for the top 7.

I agree and Flynn has managed to get us within touching distance of those places.Thing is will he be backed and do you personally think we will actually get two strikers? Or are Trivela quite happy with a top half finish this year and a playoff push next? I’ve already stated that I’d like to see us go for it a year earlier than most thought we would(so this season) because your not really guaranteed to be in this position next season regardless of who we bring in over the summer.

Promotion could be tough next season if Wrexham and Notts county come up. They’ll be strong contenders.

More likely we will be going all out to re sign Osei Yaw, now there was a striker!
There’s a couple of lads playing non league called Bryant & May, but not yet ‘match’ fit.

We will need a striker if the Johnson deal doesn’t come through, but I’d rather spend whatever money we might spend on this hypothetical striker on a right wing back.

I’d wait until Johnson joins Colchester, then agree a deal with Notts Forest to sign Will Swan and I’d do it just to spite Mansfield.
